I've only been cutting for 3 years and I nearly fell out of love for it because of how cut throat it has been in the shop. What keeps me going is the support of my family and friends. This video was definitely needed. I gotta take advantage of social media

Bossio, you are telling the truth about barbering. I've told young guys how to do this and it goes in one ear and out the other. I want to see every barber make money and be successful. Listen to Bossio young barbers, these are true nuggets he's giving.

To add to the remarks @ 10:01, using your own booking app, I have to say that I have switched many barbers because of this. you need a cut, you can't get in, the app recommends someone else, done, you just lost a customer. If there weren't recommendations, I probably would have booked at another time. I now cut my own hair because I can't find a good barber in my area, and for practice as I want to become a barber when I "retire". Great information in these videos Chris, Thank you.

My goal was to work at your shop within two years of graduation. I said in a previous video that I'd given up on my barbering career, but maybe I just need to focus and not give up so easily. You're an inspiration to us Bossio, much love.

How you do one thing is how you do everything, don’t give up on yourself, when things don’t work out the way you thought it would but your still going after it you know your doing the right thing, and it means you built different💯

Respect to you Bossio and new barbers need to take this advice and learn from it don't be cutting corners cos that doesn't work and will put you back further than you would be if you work to the plan. The year plan, walk in, book in, prices up. Keep build the shops clients. If you have a book in that for whatever reason don't show then there's a walk in waiting to be your new client. If you're working in a shop with fixed prices and they don't match your ambition its time to find another shop that does want the best. That's what its about. Take Bossio's advice its free and its the best. 💯

What are your thoughts on being a stylist, in a new city without a social media presence (not a barber but, just love doing cuts and styling) and walking into a local business office offering to do some cuts in exchange for potential business and future social media footage to post?

Dont let anyone stop you, there is going to be jealous barbers around you ghat want your clients, stay consistent and treat them all like its ghe first time they've walked through the door. Never take a client for granted no matter how long they've been your client they will see if you're rushing them, if you miss a service you normally give them. Treat them like they are the man so they feel top of the world when they leave your shop. Bossio is giving you his experience and no how for free take it and absorb it all like a sponge. Impress you client with knowledge, tell them something they don't know every time they sit in your chair. A new product they need to try. They will pay and won't feel ripped off they will appreciate that you have give them something they needed. Most of all love your work. I've been cutting for 25 years and love it like ghe day I started but know I don't have the nerves and now have confidence in my work.

Just from a service stand point, what would you say is your most lucrative service? I ask because at my shop it's just an old fashion, regular men's business cut shop. We don't shampoo or dye or nothing crazy. Just cut and shave. What should I push?
