I think that for 36 that unit is a bit dense for you. Looks good, tough. I'm using a 1B with 10% grey hair now and I'm really happy with it.

Just cutting that top down a little more would probably do wonders
@michaeljosephghd4 жыл бұрын
Yeah! I might cut the top a little to see how I like it overall, but I agree that it’s dense. I like that (because I’m not really trying for it to be natural) but I do understand what you’re saying.

Hey Michael can you post a video for first timers on how to go through and pick out your first hair system, measure your scalp and which models to start out with? I’ve noticed everyone says you should but at least two to start out with. My biggest concern with doing that is not knowing how it’s going to look right off the bat…is it going to be the right size, is the hair length going to be right length, which model do I go with, which hair do I select ( remy or Indian hair) I also live in Utah and there’s all of these questions I have that’s been holding me back on moving forward. I just ordered the pick up service through Lordhair so they can match my hair color and try to measure my scalp correctly …also is it better to widen the bald area when measuring your scalp for better coverage?

Hi, I'm fairly new to hair systems and wanted to ask if it's OK to use leave in conditioner to style will this harm the system? As I'd prefer not to use paste or gel
@SilverGoose1 Жыл бұрын
I know this video is 2 years old but I am new to a hair system and I have went to a hair replacement salon and the cut just isn't as clean as a good barber. I am searching for a barber in my area but google isn't helping. Did the barber that did your cut in this video specialize in hair systems or just a normal barber that was capable of cutting a system? Hope you will still respond to this video even though it's older. Thanks
@michaeljosephghd Жыл бұрын
Totally get it. I found a barber who had no real experience with hair systems and I’ve been with him for the past 2 years. With out subscribers for GOODHAIRDAY we literally just call up local barbers and always surprised at how experienced they are. Let me know if you want to chat more about helping you through this!

My favorite video from you so far. When doing a blend cut with a hair system did you tell your barber to be careful in any way or is it really just as simple as if he were cutting regular hair?
@michaeljosephghd3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay! He was very knowledgeable and shared with me that he has to blend lower than usual to not expose the unit. A mid-fade if you will. I learned more about the cut/fade process during this session then most of the hair system videos I’ve seen!
@seand55173 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael.. What type of glue do you use at the front?
@michaeljosephghd3 жыл бұрын
I use Walker Tape Ultra Hold. Love it. I’ve been using tape on the back and sides recently which also keeps cleanup to a minimum!

This one was not precut as I go to the barber and have him do it. Only my very first unit did I have them precut.

I am somewhat familiar with On Rite I believe they are from Ft.Lauderdale Used their products in the 80s Tapes, conditioning sprays etc, decent quality, overall products are much better now Have not used their line of products for a long time Not familiar with their line of hair pieces Good luck
