I didn’t realize that they weren’t out yet when I asked For the clipper! But they are absolutely amazing, I love the look I like it with the gold lever and bottom 🤤 the fade blade is awesome! and I just zero gapped it using your zero gapping method on this video and wow!! You mentioned something about thebottom blade having longer tooth. I put a babylisspro blade cause I couldn’t find any senior blades at a Sally’s store so I had to gamble it and go with the silver taper blade and man it cuts like butter trough any kind of hair being thick or just really curly it will cut trough with out pulling Just patiently waiting to get some babylisspro soon

Been in the game about a month now, unfortunately the only clippers the school house has is the Wahl ones. Don’t get me wrong they are great clippers, but I wish I would of done my research before I purchase them. It's her pro model; why isn't it zero-gapped out of the box? The purpose of having a pro model is so you don't have to tweak or customize it?

because all "professionals" are different levels. Not everyone understands what a zero-gap is so this is a way to protect professionals using it the wrong way and cutting their clients. Once they do actually learn it, they can adjust and be more alert when they're using it on people

@@Staygold31 The purpose of a pro model is for the 'pro' it was designed for. That's like if Kobe had a signature model but when he get's his pair he had has to switch the laces and the insole. It's made to his specifications. So if this is 'your' model, why would you have to tweak the fitting? If someone doesn't understand what a zero gap is, they go get the factory FX model and leave yours alone then.

Jayson James I’ve never bought a tool that’s already gapped to perfection so it’s nothing new even for me. And people also zero gap to different levels. Some don’t even get that close but closer than factory set. I’m glad that a beginner level can purchase it and not understand about the zero gap and use it safely on their clients until they become more curious to take it tighter and learn the adjustment. I definitely don’t see an issue with it 🤷🏼‍♀️

The issue that you're not seeing is barbers, to your point, who don't know what they're doing so they zero their stuff and leave it biting on customers' necks. Like you said, not everyone understands what a zero-gap is so how are they supposed to create it on their own? They don't have the technique and precision that you have when you undo two screws and eyeball it then tighten it back. So you're just gonna let them guess the process and leave their customer at risk? I'm saying - these clippers should be ready for Sofie out the box. You're saying - well, not everyone gets it, so let's make them generic and I'll tweak mine to my specs, and they'll be safe with their clips. That said, why wouldn't they just buy the regular version; what the hell makes them your signature model? Cos they're black? Well you added the fade blade which is great I should say. All that said, I'm not trying to argue with you and I know you have to work within their limits, so I would prefer you just went with their recommendation to get mass reach rather than argue with them. You're winning and I'm happy for you; this argument is more for Babyliss not you. I support your hustle and talent.
