When will another group be as incredible as this? Rasmus the perfect lead/tenor, Martin the perfect melodic bass, Jakob the true tenor who can take over any song, and one of the best baritones to ever exist with such a dominant range, Emanuel.

History in the making. These lads from Sweden are the first from outside North America to win the Harmony Society Gold Medal. Great on this video, spectacular in person. They made the Portland International one to remember, and I am grateful to have been there.

For certain. The pieces from the Hunchback are beautiful as is, but they completely blow it out of the water. Their timing and perfect harmonies amaze me every time I listen to it.

People say this, and ND is great, but ALL of their songs are musical perfection. For me, you can't get any better than the second song on this video, "I can't give you anything but love". It encompasses everything.
@AndrewMabon4 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, one of the secrets to that performance is having Rasmus take the tenor part, and letting Jakob do the lead. I think it suits their voices better.

I think it might not be tagged appropriately. For example, it should be tagged "barbershop," "ringmasters," "so in love," and "men with great cheekbones."

Can you imagine them rehearsing this song? Bari- "Okay, let's start from verse 43..." Lead- "Where the melody begins?" Tenor- "There is no melody! Besides, that's my tenor-lead line!" Bass- "He must be having a bad hair day."

Why is it the basses always seem to be tall and thin? :)
@calebsmalling5 жыл бұрын
Think of a bass singer like you'd think of a stand up bass instrument. Usually people who are taller and have tall upper bodies can produce a lower sound, just like the difference between a violin, Viola, cello, and Bass.

@andrewmunro88302 жыл бұрын
@@calebsmalling No - length of vocal cords (and training) influences that. Larger chest cavity might make for a more resonant sound, but not a lower range.
