Well my friend. Remember the Barbie Basics collection from 2009. In that timeline, Barbie is an adult as well as her sisters and friends. These other blondes I made them as separate characters from the original Barbie to differentiate from her so they can be background characters or main characters in my stories. For example, Lea, Barbie's asian friend has two sisters which are the other two basic Leas and the California Girl Leas are Lea's tanned cousins, Mia, Maya and Freya.

This dolls had a black dress but had no name or backstory so I had to give them names and a story. I made the Barbie Basics story as a continuation to the events of Dreamhouse Adventures and the blonde Mackie is Barbie grown up as an adult, but she still kept her cheerful personality intact. The first collection of Basics was about the little black dress and there were 12 dolls with Barbie herself, Lara, Shannon, Grace, Whitney, Lea, Teresa, Desiree and 4 new neighbors for Barbie, Gia, Nichelle (she shares her name with the Generation Girl character of the same name), Nadia and Mirana, who is Midge's younger sister. Also the Happy Family line takes place in the Barbie Basics Timeline because Midge is an adult and is married to Alan and has Ryan.

Now in my case when I was young, I didn't know about sex, but I knew if say a girl kissed a guy that wasn't her husband or boyfriend, and vise versa, that was cheating. Also one time I did a gay wedding with two bride Barbies, I didn't know what gay was, I just happened to have two wedding dresses and thought they both looked pretty and that Groom Ken kinda looked bland.
