Bellingham is def experiencing that exhaustion Pedri did. He played almost every game last season, then played the Euros, and had almost no break before the start of this season where he was even injured for a bit. Of course as a Barca fan, I'm happy that we won but that is just not good for the players and as a football fan overall, you want to see good competition and the best players performing at their highest level, no matter the team they play in.

That’s not the only issue because Bellingham at Euros was not great either and then he did have 3 weeks off during injury where he has plenty of rest to recover. Bellingham last season had a role where defence was not a big concern as they were already playing with 3 midfielders behind him in Tchou Kroos and Valverde. Also defence was much better with Nacho. Now they missing a playmaker and Bellingham can’t just stand up front als a false nine to tap balls in he actually has to play as a midfielder which is not his strong suit!

My only concern for Barca going forward this season is squad depth. Kounde and Balde are our only fullbacks that are capable of being starters. And Lewa, Raph and Yamal are our only forwards that are capable of being starters. We don’t have anyone on the bench to cover for them if any injuries happen. Fati, Pau Victor, Ferran, Gerard Martin and Fort are not at all capable of stepping up in important matches.

Flick is THAT guy man. I think at this point of time, only Pep is the manager that any club would pick over him. It's such a shame the way his reputation took a hit after that stint with the German National Team which I always thought was extremely unfair because the kind of discipline that Flick likes to instill in his squad requires a lot of time and commitment which just isn't feasible to achieve when managing a national team.
