Around 5:30, The lecturer say like "Majority State follow common law. But there is only one exception, the burglary- always follow the Common Law" I don't understand why she point out burglary as an exception to overall applying CL while the Common Law also applies to burglary.

My understanding was that MPC was NOT law, but rather a guide when Common Law provided weak or missing case law. Has this changed? Thank you for your wonderful video series.
