I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this situation. Simplified, I was just wondering if its illegal to bait someone to break the law? For example, say your wife wants to cheat on you, but to do so she must get you out of the house. So, she fakes a quick rage, breaks something she knows you don't want broken, and then when you push her away from what she is breaking she calls the police telling them you assaulted her. Simple, bait and arrest play. Anyone know any cast law or statutes about this?

Through out trial, she will repeat the so called "story" multiple times. At this point, it is perjury & possible character defamation. But the proving is the tough part, you will not go to trial if it didn't happen. My only advice, find an action recorded(text, video, etc) to show the strength of character. Poor moral are the roots of bad morals.
