Doesn't mean the birth parents are losers. You don't know the situation so pls don't speak upon it. I had two sons that I gave up for adoption, I was a young mother. I wasn't educated on birth control. I wasn't ready to be a mother. My mom wasn't there for me. I was lost. I did the best unselfish thing for my sons. I was looking out for their wellbeing. I don't regret that decision. They were raised in a loving home. Both well cared for. But unfortunately, my youngest son who was raised in a very well to do home environment lost his long battle to opioid addiction 4 years ago. He served in the military, had an accident and suffered in the end. He died of a fentynal OD. I'm very saddened by this, my heart hurts that words can't describe. #forever31 #tearsfortavio #flyhightavio So please don't judge a book by its cover. @@Stanfordmom- It's very sad she's getting backlash for doing the right thing. It's awesome that she adopted her daughters from foster care. But I think what a lot of people don't seem to understand is that there is a such thing as biracial families too depending on who their child(ren) take after. An example: A black woman who married a white man (1 child may be pure white due to taking after their dad's side while the other child may be black no matter how light or dark their skin tone is from taking after the mother's side). Honestly, she shouldn't have had to explain herself like that because in real reality, it's no one else's business except for her and her own family's business. Like she said at the end, it's better to ask Questions First. I understand why some people don't want to ask questions first & that's because they scared of what they're going to ask might hurt their feelings in some form or way. I literally don't know why, but biracial families alone get criticized a lot for being biracial. Here's an example shorts video abt. this very thing: kzbin.infoCiQIyLoT-uE. Biracial kids and familias can and will exist in and throughout life that the ones criticizing these individuals need to actually learn more about it in order to actually understand it better.

@@Mrskay04 she is a caregiver she is not a mom you only get one mother. I have loved other children as much as my own kids and some were a good deal easier to love than my own children. And I have been loved by many women growing up. Certainly not by the one who removed my real mother from my birth certificate and then admitted after I had put EVERYTHING I had into the relationship when I was 15 Kathy finally admitted to me that she always felt like she had been raising another woman's child. Joke is on her because although I look in the face like my mother except for the blue eyes and I sound exactly like her I am nothing like my mother. Anyway I have had to extrapolate all of that from what my family tells me because she died before I could meet her. She and I most likely would not have even gotten along. However she is my mother not all of the women who have loved me in passing. There are very few things in this life that are not replaceable and your mother and father are a non transferable non replaceable relationship. Reality sucks but the truth is better than a lie.

I'm adopted as well. My twin sister, me, and my brother were 6 and 7 and reunited into the same home. Our adopted mom died 6 months after the adoption was finalized so we were raised by a single dad that I'll love forever. We're black and my parents were black but I was ridiculed because my skin color was so much darker than my siblings. I had the best dad in the world and lost him when I was 37 years old.

Don't let people dictate your LOVE for your kids. They are safe and blessed to have a mother like you. God bless you for giving them a chance.
@lichi1244eva6 ай бұрын
I'm a foster and adoptive mom. I knew they were adopted immediately because in some areas you cannot expose children that are not legally yours online. Personally, I have never posted one picture or video of my littles online and never will. It should be up to them to decide when they are old enough to understand AND consent if they want that kind of exposure. So for me, I'm not with what Bri is doing. That said, I'm glad the kids are healthy and happy and I'm glad that as siblings they are able to stay together. I do not care whether she's Black and they're not, as long as they remain happy, healthy, loved, and secure.
@FreeToLove9996 ай бұрын
@lichi1244eva• Many of your points are well taken, even the point of to expose or not to expose children on the internet and to let them decide when they are adults. But if we are to take that line of thinking, what about all the children on TV shows and in movies? Same line of reasoning, I think. 🤔🤔🤔
@lichi1244eva6 ай бұрын
@@FreeToLove999 it is a similar line of thinking; though most if not all child TV and movie stars have release forms to appear on camera and contracts in place, while I'm less inclined to believe that's the case for children on social media. And we have more tales of former child stars who have come out and said that they felt exploited by their parents and how that led to some destructive behaviors as they grew up. Jennette McCurdy from iCarly, for example, titled her recent memoir "I'm Glad My Mom Died"😳
@FreeToLove9996 ай бұрын
@@lichi1244eva I agree. My point is, what's the difference in exposing children on the internet where big movie/film industries don't profit vs exposing them in the movie/film industries? And is it legal/ethical for a child to sign a release form? I hope that you are not misinterpreting what I am saying. I question all of this as well.
@lichi1244eva6 ай бұрын
@@FreeToLove999 not misinterpreting anything, it sounds like you and I are aligned! Questions abound but I personally wouldn't put my kiddos in that situation. Not on social, not on TV, movies or the runway. It won't happen.

@FineHupeline6 ай бұрын
I doubt that the criticism has only to do with the fact that she is a woman of colour. Children should not be used for content. Personally, I see the problem mainly with white women/families and have been criticizing it for years. Accordingly, I will not change my opinion just because she has a different skin colour. And btw, there is no such thing like human races. This is the racial theory of the Nazis and it has long been scientifically refuted.

Personally, as a parent of twins, and also a victim of online grooming, kids should not be showcased online for the world to see. Too many sickos out there, recently saw an online influencer say that someone recognized his son outside of their home. That is scary!

Beautifully braided hair!!!! They have very cute hairstyles. There are too many stupid and jealous people. People would have less questions if you loved a different species like a dog. A dog???? Can you imagine loving a dog that has different biology, hair, blood type, a sense of smell and completely different vision? And yet - people would NOT mind you loving such a different looking dog being! But how come your OWN SPECIES, your own biological kind is suddenly not appropriate for you to love?? So, a different species is ok to love, but your own is way too different for you to love?!?!?!😂😂😂😂 How dumb is that? You look like a beautiful family. "White" and "black" labels are for labels. You are not color labels, walking on two legs,as far as I am concerned. You are a human family, and you look beautiful! You look so good together - no wonder you have haters! Pay no attention to stupidity. Stay happy.
