Funny fact: Jorge has a 3 part video series called Jorge and Dad build a booth. This was the teaser for Mike Rivera as Hephaestus. I DIDN'T CATCH IT. Kinda wholesome fact: Jorge's first musical was a semi Hamilton-ish drama called My Heart Says Go. Many speculate that My Heart Says Go is rooted in reality, as Jorge was formerly going to be a doctor at the request of his parents. One of the songs there is called Father and Son where the characters in the musical who are father and son fight over the choice to give up cardiology and pursue music. Now, nothing is confirmed... however, knowing both Mike Rivera and Wanda Herrans participated in their son's musical, it is clear of how much has changed since My Heart Says Go.

Fun fact: An erhu is the instrument Ares's section of God Games you confused for a violin. The reason it's an erhu is that it was invented in China around the same time Sun Tzu wrote The Art Of War. Additionally, the melody the erhu is playing is actually the same as Athena's motif.

I don't personally believe this but its theory time: Zeus made Athena mortal and killed her. First point of evidence, she is bleeding red blood instead of golden ichor. Second point, zeus has made gods mortal before. Thrid point, gods can die (Pan). Fourth point, Calypso claiming gods cant die (since the last she checked) is irrelevent, since the last she checked was the titanomachy (when zeus took control of olympus), since then, she has been trapped on that island, she has no idea of the thousands of years outside of that island. Fifth point, nothing is set in stone, even though athena shows up later, the sirens were not supposed to show up according to jorge, so events can still change. Sixth and final point, Jorge has already, GREATLY migrated from the original myth, besides what we know will happen from the underworld anything could happen.

Jorge isn't killing Athena, he wouldn't diverge THAT MUCH! Athena is literally the one who disguises Odysseus as the old man. Also, it's known that the 'Pan dying' thing is debatable because these stories were originally told orally. Over the THOUSANDS of years of translations, things can get messed up, like a game of telephone. A story now from 'supposedly' Ancient Greece could say Pan died, but the original was that he just disappeared and not died. Also, Athena is his favorite kid, Zeus isn't gonna kill her. He might wound her horribly to make an example of her, but he's not gonna kill his favorite kid. 🙄

She lost a weaving competition with a human and got butthurt about it. Or won it and still got butthurt about it. And that's just one myth. Athena very much is still vulnerable to pride, lacking hindsight, and the likes. God is also a God of Law and created Athena from his own mind as his view of a perfect daughter. For all people focus on his negative myths, Zeus was not a god anyone on Olympus could trifle with without repercussions.
