I love the iflight plastic shields. To make them good I wrap electric tape around them then they don’t ever shatter. 👍🏻

got one and it's fantastic for dynamic cinematic flying as well as longrange!

Outdoor u say the bob57 would be a better option that a Nazgûl? I’m getting my first ‘proper’ Kwad after flying dji fpv and Avata? I was struggling to choose the f5 or f6 so this seems to make sense but I wanted to ask someone who has experience flying it. I’d be getting it with 03 air unit and crossfire. Hope you (or anyone in the comments)can offer some advice from hand on experience. Cheers

@@h-dawg969 Nice, I'm coming from the Dji FPV as well, which was great to get started with! Not sure how the Avata flies. But the BOB57 feels super smooth and light in the air compaired the Dji FPV which feels like a tank. So I guess some 5incher Nazgul would feel even more agile and light, but has some downsides, like, it couldn't as easily carry a 4000mah LiIon pack (which is fantastic for long range, 18min+ with a full sized GoPro 10 and removed battery - using usb-c cable instead). If you're primarily into flying loops and freestyling, then I'd go for a 5inch. If you're into some smooth cinematic stuff, 6inch BOB57 is perfect, and with the right props it could still be freestyled for every now and then. (check out some shots from my channel. owned the 6inch nazgul evoque before as well)

@@peakperspectives_ch sweet. Cheers for that. I’ll check your channel and subscribe now. My stuff is under the name Harold of Kernow if you wanna have a look. I’m still at the newb faze, but deffo guna progress onto a legit kwad soon. The bob 57 is really tempting. What batteries do you recommend? & would you suggest crossfire? I was planning on getting the Tango 2 controller.
@peakperspectives_ch2 жыл бұрын
@@h-dawg969 will have a look thanks :) crossfire and tango 2 is what I have as well, seems to be very popular and great connection for long range. Batteries I'd recommend 4000mah 6S LiIon for long range (not much punch on the throttle though because of low max-current), and for some faster and more agile flying 1600 - 1900mah 6S LiPos. 1550s is what I've got (besides the 4000 LiIon) and it' nice to fly, for about 8min, but I feel like the 6inch body could easily handle a little bit more battery weight and gain some air time with it. My 2 cents, but I don't have that much to compare with either. But that's what I'd go with if I was buying now.

Freestyle sometimes means "not racing". I love 6" quads thanks to Konasty's influence... Carries a full size go-pro, capable of all the tricks, a bit quieter, and better battery life!

You’re right about the plastic wire covers. I just had to fix mine from being shattered and my wires were cut. I wrap the arms with clear Gorilla tape and tape the wires to the side of the arm that the prop doesn’t rotate towards.

Seems like a great commercial drone for chase and sports. Long range = reliable at a distance and freestyle = powerful enough for a big gopro

I don't have a 6" quad, but my favorite props on my Mr Croc 7" are the Azure power 6" props. I still get a lot of flight time & it can freestyle. It's not the best at either, but it's fun.
@chrisbee54812 жыл бұрын
I like the aure 6" too. Have you tried the hq 6x4x3 ? Or tmotor 6145? Both great too
@CarbonGlassMan2 жыл бұрын
@@chrisbee5481 I haven't tried those. The only 6" props I have ever bought were the Azure. I liked them so much I haven't bothered trying anything else yet. I am still on my 1st set of those props because I almost never crash my 7" quad. I'll check them out though.

what is the best battery I could buy for this drone to achieve a long cinematic flight time?

I like the way the protectors look, that’s about it lol. My more glamorous(professional) cinematic freestyle drones have the guards with pretty leds underneath, but my daily driver has racewire and tape.

BOB57 is the Best Of Both (between a 5 and7) - it's Ellis Van Jason's baby. If you don't know who that is, you've been living under a rock. Can't believe you haven't heard of this quad, JB. I have been flying the BOB for a couple of weeks. I also have the Nazgul F5 Evoque and the Chimera7 Pro. I can honestly say that the BOB57 is now my favourite quad. It's nimble, can absolutely do long range, but it can do the "flippy flop" as you say. If you ask some of your "sperts" a few of them are alluding that 6" is the new 5". Go get one JB. 👍 Aki, if you're watching, send him one. 😉

And what about crashes? Doesn't meant to be in a bando? Thanks for your time

What has made it better for you over the 7 inch? I currently film everything on a 5 inch and I have been considering moving up to a larger platform for more flight time. I'm having a little bit of a hard time imagining the difference between 6 and 7. I haven't flown either size yet. Like it seems to me I'll get more benefit in flight time and cruise speed from the 7 inch.

i feel the same about those wire protectors. they need to be made of something with more give in movement, I've shattered mine with frame resonance even. the old TPU printed ones are much better

My biggest problem is that you can't order spare parts for this frame. This is a deal-breaker for me.

I bet its not a bando basher but can handle some crashes. Plus its 6in so can carry more payload and more efficient. Freestyle should not always mean bando bashing.
