In this video I go over more information on Anchor Punching, there where many questions asked and many wanted a demonstration on how to do it.
So I made this video to help clear up any confusion in how to do an Anchor Punch.
So sit back and watch the video and then go out and practice this powerful strike and add it to your arsenal of mayhem.
Before I go, I would like to thank Emillio for helping me in the video.

I loved the exaggerated de-stabilization when you were tapping the bag bruh. In case you don't know you can regulated the motion to fit the frame through your Sony fx window pop-up. Yeah the good ole anchor punch, what Ali SAID he use to knock out Liston. Of course we all know it was not.really an anchor punch.

I started to muscle/train my shoulder joints following your video. Basically, a planche (upper position of a push-up), on your palms and slowly rotating the shoulders, forward and backward, up & down.. I feel a huge difference in my punches already.

Hey Salem, watch my video "Footwork: the lost art of shifting", that will teach you how to switch from left to right hand lead in a very aggressive street fighting style against multiple attackers. Also you are correct in training the left and right sides, as it is very important to be able to fight from both stances.

Thanks, your video made a difference. I feel I am hitting quite a bit harder. Kind of off the subject, if you had to address more than one attacker, what is your opinion on switching leads to address a threat. I try to train both left and right the same.

I had the camera sitting on the uppercut bag and forgot it leans against the Thai bag frame, so I put the camera on two cinder blocks to finish the video.

I will. But in the meantime what I mean by this is striking with the back of the hand and using the back knuckles to hit with.

Yes you could Slade, you just would have to roll in an upward figure eight instead of a downward figure eight.

For upper cuts I like to throw what I call "up strikes", instead of upper cutting with the palms up I do it with the palms down, that way I hit with the top knuckles under the jaw line. As for the jab I like using elliptical punching to the face.

Each has it's advantages, you do know you can drop step off the shift and anchor punch with a jolt.;0)
