I was 10 when this performance took place and I remember hearing about the one guys drug problem and being sad that they weren't together anymore. I wish they could get together again. I was introduced to this song by my ex wife so it's fitting I guess

Dave Lieske 1 second ago I have had that happen to me also. Elvis is another one for me. When alive, I was not a great fan, but liked him. After he died, gained an appreciation of how great of an artist he was. And his voice. Also, in the past, there were a lot of groups vying for our attention. The last half of the 20th century was the golden age of great pop music. While there are exceptions, today's music is made artificially in that it is not made with instruments. and seems pretty much the same. That also allows us to a second chance to discover something we had missed. Probably the more likely, I am getting older!!!

I love this song and so blessed to be apart of that pretech era where we didn't worry, didn't judge and just went with the flow and let the vibe get in us and take control! 🙏😎 Nowadays, even with their name they would probably be labeled discriminatory and they'd be banned 😔
