I was 10 weeks into my block when they canceled Boston. I ended up trying to time trail and marathon-lost steam and reverted to base training. To have all those miles not count for a BQ would suck. Hope you crush it.

@@CreeepsMind right? The dude literally has paid a coach to stare at him during bike workouts and ride along during his runs and expects us to believe he's doing something incredible with a sub 3 hr marathon. Then is trying to certify a marathon course? Talk about doing things 99% if the population could never afford to do.
@CreeepsMind4 жыл бұрын
@@mattfeacv5243 I really don't want to hate on Nick or his achievements, but it seems a bit crazy to me to get a Marathon certified just for personal times. I mean the money he put into this (and also the whole Ironman series) is insane! It shows that he is dedicated but also that he has clearly no boundries for spending money on things he likes. Its important to him to have the best bike, the best training, the best nutrition and so on.

Great note on the elbow positioning on the pull of the free style stroke. It's also good to practice short sprints than normal pace swimming all the time. This will help the body to settle in a more natural rhythmic when it comes to long distance swimming.

From the top there's a significant difference on how your hands/arms cut (your stroke) into the water. You right cuts in at a shorter/ steeper ankle, and your left extends further with a lot less cut, more of an open hand push down.
