What a fun video! Your challenge really paid off. I can appreciate some aspects of dark academia, such as the baroque mirrors and velvet fabric, but my heart belongs to vintage cottage style.Its good to get out of our comfort zone sometimes, and the tray turned out beautiful. The gold items really play off the black. Fun haul to look at, maybe some of the transfers on the wooden box? 😊

This 2 tiered tray doesn’t have as much of a dark and spooky vibe as I like. I actually use antique Victorian cut glass cake risers that are purple or red and then, use dark Academia pieces as well as small black lace linens to place in and around the items. This is a very unique look by stacking 2 or 3 stands on top of each other. I get compliments all the time especially in the fall when I display a few for Halloween 🖤
