Welcome to the first episode of baRHI-Dranks, a series taking a look at the wild world of cocktails and other libations. Each episode will give you an entertaining and step by step look at the making of some of our favorite beverages. Some will be classics; others will be unique, all will be delicious.
Up first-The Ginger Margo Ruby, an RHI Tropical Twist on the classic Margarita. A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy, too refreshing to have just one.

The Ginger Margo Ruby:
Ingredients:
2oz Tequila
2oz Sweet and Sour Mix
1oz Triple Sec
1oz Lime Juice
2oz Pineapple Ginger Juice
1oz Simple Syrup (optional)
Ice, 2 Lime Wedges, Coarse Salt or Tajin, 10.5oz Rocks Glass, Boston Shaker, Hawthorn Strainer
Directions:
Rim Rocks Glass with Lime Wedge and Salt or Tajin.
Fill Rocks Glass with Ice.
Fill Boston Shaker with ice and all liquids.
Cover, shake and pour into Rocks Glass using Hawthorn Strainer
Garnish with Lime Wedge.

RHI Sweet and Sour mix recipe:
Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup fresh lime juice about 7 limes
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice about 2 lemons
Directions:
Simmer 2 cups of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar over medium heat until it is fully dissolved.
Pour it into a jar and let it come to room temperature.
Add 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1/2 cup lime juice.
