I just did a carb changeover from an EFI on a 93, it's the first trouble free ride I've had with it in 15 years, good luck with yours!!

just because I'm paranoid, after I double-knot the rope on the recoil side, I also flood it with Superglue, then hit it with some accelerator. It's a good way to guarantee that it'll never come apart on that end.

I like how Tommy extends his neck forward and sticks his lips out when he cleans da carbs "takes a drink" haha

Cheers guys 🍻🍻🍻 First off, where’s the darn snow 🙄 Wow! She’s coming together! Glad you showed the pressure check, lots to learn there! Thanks! Is Tommy thinking of doing anything to it mod wise, or just leaving it stock? Once again those trailing arms look really sharp! Todd did a good video about a year ago on RXL troubleshooting/code reading etc. Good to see the whole crew there! Cheers 🍻

Leaving it stock.

If you get the service manual from vintage snow dot com you don't need a video about code reading. Just one of the things I've learned about RXLs. They are really not bad to deal with.

And when they are working like they should they are a pretty sweet sled to drive! Sounds like it’s time to get out the cardboard beer case to start a list for Princeton! Item #1-early 90’s RXL for Nutter!

Good catch on the wire. Been looking for a project. You would think with the lack of snow there would be better deals out there but I havent found too many. Maybe it's just easier to watch someone do a project, LOL. Cheers!

Mmmmm Brake clean.
@nuttersspeedshop Жыл бұрын
The problem is that if you have any chips open when you are spraying brake clean they taste like brake clean later.

I'm in Elk River and have a Hardinge lathe. I can make the carb boot plugs.

You should make some and sell them. I don't have time. I know there's people that want to buy them.

@nuttersspeedshop absolutely. Did you use abs? Delrin? If you'd be interested in sending me dimensions, we could partner up and have them available on your merch site.
