In this video, we take you through an exciting barndominium apartment design project. Our customer wanted to transform an apartment in their barn into the perfect getaway for when their kids and grandkids visit. They had a few must-haves: two queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a TV area, a kitchenette, and a small bathroom that was already framed.
We explored multiple layout options to ensure they could maximize the space and get the best use out of it. The final design features built-in bunks with two queen beds on the bottom and twins on top, complete with stairs, shelves, and individual lights for each bunk. This setup provides ample sleeping space while keeping the area open and functional.
