Johnny was such a great host would invite everyday folks to show off their abilities and their pets. This was true entertainment done the wright way as I have said and many others have said Johnny was a class act through and through. With all the junk on late night nowadays this was a joy to see god I truly miss Johnny Carson.

Barney is more entertaining than most celebrities. He was full of zingers, for sure. Johnny could have made him look foolish but he was always consistent in not making any of the characters that came on look bad for cheap laughs. Miss Johnny.

Barney and Flat Nose are really something and he talks just like my Smokey Mountain folks with a sense of humor...so fun and I loved it...I'm born and raised in Tennessee and live in Louisiana now and of all the places I've lived these two are my favorite.

Loved Johnny Carson, I watched every night in bed, it was best when the animals showed up the monkey who deck Carson was one of the best, Johnny going into his karate pose, what a sport he was. I'll say this right now, and it's not just cause Im from the South but I watch reruns of Johnny Carson's show more than I do Fallon's show or Colbert or Kimmel. Carson had the magic touch. that's what it was! Those other networks tried to copy the tonight show but never could copy JOHNNY CARSON.

@@emojiking8580 yes. Let’s see; his 2nd wife cheated on him, ending in divorce. His 3rd wife talked him out of signing a prenup, then took him for $35 million. His best friend betrayed him. Joan Rivers, who credited him with making her career, betrayed him. His son died an untimely death. There’s about a dozen other things I can list but I think that’s enough for now. After all that he still managed to use self deprecating humor about his failed marriages and stay positive enough to make 30 or 40 million people laugh every night. I think that’s pretty extraordinary!
