Needed that screwdriver just now. Had to weld nuts on the screws cuz they were rusted tight. Got em out. Need new bolts now.

I have a '73 CT3 175 in gold, these bikes seem to have weak clutches. I couldn't find new plates 5 years ago so i installed some used ones from a 125 parts bike. I copied the Yamaha part #'s from the video, thanks for the help! Love the bike tho, it's a lot of fun! I also need a 6 volt headlight, they are made of unobtainium!

Tried NAPA for the headlight?

Sick CT1, nothing like the old 2 stroke sound. Have you worked with the oil injection pump on these? I got a 72 CT2, not sure the best way to check its operation, other than checking oil at the bleeder screw like you mentioned. For now I'm premixing but would be cool to use the oil injection.

I’ve owned many older enduros. 99.9% of the time if the oil injection hasn’t been messed with they work fine. They’re built to outlast the bike, most are gear driven.

I bought them on babbitts online but I don’t think they’re around anymore. Try Yamaha parts house
