This 1993 was purchased a year before this video. I honestly don't know what drove me to buy it...its not overly fast or sporty, its a minivan...but something about it spoke to me, most likely it's uniqueness and rarity...there aren't many around, and the other people that own them are just gems. This is an excellent example of a typical 90's van with lots of options but not all of them.

power seats were available at least in '96 in the lumina vans. It was a $270 option for the drivers power seat.

I’m willing to bet it was available in most vans as a very high end option, but possibly one just saved for Oldsmobile originally.

its interesting seeing how this compares to my '93 trans sport. yours is optioned quite a bit nicer than than mine as I am yet to see another trans sport with crank windows and manual mirrors.

Yeah, mine is a CL which gives it a few more standard things, but typical of this era, you could have some weird option sets. BUT I am still looking to just see current pictures of a non-AC van….we’ve seen bench seats and cargo vans, but no current non-AC cars.

@@Turbo231 so far the only pictures I have seen of a non-ac van was from the 1990 GM u body van service video. I am still keeping my eyes open for one in the wild

i have actually wanted a van in this body style, it just has this air too it that i feel will never really get "dated" like you see it and instantly recognize it from "somewhere"

RPO codes? Totally. They work for all 1984 and UP GM cars.

I thought I remembered my childhood friend's family having one of these, but I seem to remember it having a third row bench seat. Do you know if there's any models/years/options that had that? Or am I misidentifying the car from my memories.

The 97 and up had the 3 row back and 2 in the middle.
