But it is those cost plus contracts, especially for defense contractors, that pays off politicians and brings jobs and plants to their districts. So lots of Republicans will push back against that.

With all the optimism Ron has had with Tesla and its stock, he will be lucky to live long enough to see that his investment in Tesla will pay off based on the way it has gone with Wall Street. Since Ron was part of Tesla's 3 to 1 stock split, he is down millions of dollars on that investment. Up until Trumps victorious presidential victory, Elon has been helpless and incapable of recovering Tesla's stock price to what is was in November of 2021 -- $407 dollars a share. I assumed that Musk himself or Wall Street that was to blame for that. But now, it turns out that it may have been the Biden administration that may have been a detriment to Tesla, their business model, and what they have accomplished. It may be that what is happening with Tesla stock may be the beginning of the "Golden Age" that Trump was referring to during his campaign.
