Even if it were boring - not to me - you would still deserve praise for the time and effort put in to this. You are helping to improve the knowledge of the airgun community as a whole, and that's a great thing! 😁

Excellent video Jake and Co....even though now I am fighting with myself...the side that wants the most precision out of my Ghost vs the side that says $178 not incl shipping for the clamp is ridiculous... Are you, can you do this same testing for the Ghost's Barrel Tension System? I have so many questions as to how that really-best should be "applied" to the barrel to get "tension"...One video tensions it against the barrel grub screw...another uses the 6 grub screws on the spacer.... Not sure how much tension you can apply against one inset grub screw or 6 digging into the surface of the. barrel.... thanks Jake!

Another excellent video relevant to me as I have the alpha wolf although it's FAC. Hadn't even considered the effect of a barrel clamp very interesting results from a test covering lots of parameters. Graphs illuminated the results clearly, really well done and clear presentation you are a star.

very interesting mate . quite a difference for sure and as always it’s the wobbly bit on the back that is a factor for sure . what has always surprised me about guns is how the same make and model of gun can be so different in its firing cycle and what it reacts to . excellent video

Do not do yourself down, it was very interesting. Some points I would make, is it better to use a Torque screwdriver for tightening? it would be my conclusion that the harmonics of the barrel are changing the same as when the weight is changed on the business end. More experiments come to mind I await with anticipation.

we was going to use a torque screwdriver but thought lots of people wouldn't have them so just went with the feel 😀thanks for watching 😁

Very interesting to see. I haven't seen a barrel clamp of that design that sits more towards the centre of the barrel. All the ones I have seen are a lot narrower and positioned more towards the muzzle end of the barrel.

yes it's a nice design and give a little improvement 👍

can you test some FX products? like M3. try to make a clamp for it in the similar way. i was very curious that if the float barrel which they claimed good is true or not.

Interesting test. Even more interesting would be to see this done on a FX airgun. I'm thinking the FX would benefit more because of their liner system.

@PaulBlundell-k7x5 ай бұрын
I can answer that one as I see lots of people at Petes Airgun Farm ask. They are basically too busy on testing and producing training video's to take on much private work. The chances are very slim. They have been offered quite large sums to take on small projects so I would not hold your breath. Its nothing personal, just a workload issue and they have loads of projects running or in the pipeline which prohibits them doing much else.

I think that you might be viewing the wrong KZbin channel. This is purely for Airgun enthusiasts. We can spend as much or as little as we see fit.
