I feel you on that. Had similar family trouble in my life where I was simply labeled and minimized, thank God I got away from it all at 15. Just remember that it's not healthy to hold on to resentment. People can treat us bad, but it's up to us to choose what baggage we leave behind and carry. I should know. Even after leaving I jumped on every opportunity with others to bash the side of the family that gave me trouble over the years, and keep what they said to me at heart. But it wasn't helping my system at all, especially at the many times I doubted myself and my own abilities according to things they told me over the years. I'm doing much better now that I've left it in the past. Sorry for the lengthy aside, just thought my own experience would be of use in this situation.

I don't pretend to have all the answers to life but I know 3 things. You don't mes with people who are moving because they are already mad. You don't mess with people who are preparing your food and you don't try to fight someone who is trying to help you. I'll figure the rest out as it comes up. 😂
