I owned a 2012 Yaris III 1.33 99HP, driven a 2008 Yaris II 1.33 85HP and now I own a 2006 Yaris 1.0 73HP. What I can tell you is that the avg consumption on all of them was almost the same. With a tank of 42L I got a mixed of 500-600Km. Both the older and newer 1.33 were great, with the newer being more refined but essentially the same car. I ignored the design, as for me the reliability and driving is more important. I had to sell both because I needed money quick. I bought the 1.0 in mint condition for 2650eur. The 1.0 3 cylinder is a little bit noisier and definitely not as powerful as the 4 cylinder 1.33, yet driving in town 50kmh and outside 90kmh feels like the 1.33. Only at motorway speeds at 110-130kmh you definitely feel the "struggle" Well, not entirely true. I drive mostly max 120kmh and when alone, even the motorway seems fine. Driving 4 people and luggage makes it very hard to praise. So nippy at everything bellow 100kmh. That said, it manages even 150kmh. I asked like 20 people online who sold the 1.0 Yaris II about their experiences and all said that though its not for highway suited, they all drive it there 120kmh easy with people and some said they only drive 150kmh mostly with....and this is what blew my mind, over 500,000 Km on the ODO meter!!!! They said the only servicing was the usual at any car, no flaws what so ever. So I took mine for a spin many times and can say that even though you feel the 1.0 is a city car, you are always surprised at what it can do. PS - I spent 2650eur on it with the next cheapest and in good condition 1.33 was about 4000eur. For the cca 1300eur I got my kitchen and living room remade!!!

Based on those claimed fuel efficiency numbers, a top speed of 175Mph sounds about right. Just divide all claimed numbers by 1.6 and there's the real world figures.

Jsks s You are joking 😂. Reliability, yeah I definitely agree, although I’ve had 8 Audi’s and only ever had one problem (boot latch went on a 2014 Q5). However, you cannot compare the flimsy, hard Japanese plasticky interiors to an Audi’s 😂😂. Audi are the best in the game for interiors; their quality, finish and technology is unrivalled. I’ve also briefly had a 2017 Toyota Aygo I bought for my business, and it was awful. I get it’s a cheap car, but the Horn broke within weeks, the DAB radio never got a signal and the gearbox was awful (it was like a truck’s). I got a Skoda Citigo straight after (for the around same price) and it was a much better quality car.

@@jacobthompson8507 I am not a fan of Audi or Toyota but I would say Toyota has the most plastic in cars than any others but overall they're good cars

We got a yaris petrol mk1 From 2005, and the steering dont self centre and is nervous at highway speed, how is it in the mk2, does the steering self center to the middle by it self?
@joshuagarden73044 жыл бұрын
The MK2 is super stable at highway and high speeds. Feels like a bigger car.

I would'nt be too hard on the mechanic at the dealership for not picking up on the wiper blades. They are under pressure to churn em out, it's volume volume volume, if one wants a thorough service the dealer is the worst choice I'd suggest. Oil and filter change, tyre rotation, hand brake adjustment and a quick clean in wash bay. Don't blame the mechanic, it's the dealer that dictates their working terms and conditions.
@joshbacon82412 жыл бұрын
Why are they being under pressure to churn them out like you said?

1:58 30 British Pounds = $41.65. The Socialists in California charge $130 annually for my 11 year old 2010 Yaris and the same amount $130 for my 30 year old 1991 Honda Ct 70cc mini trail! My Yaris sedan has always been a great car. 104,000 highway miles and only replaced a squeaky fan belt.
