you can also use it for that one escort mission in NG++ if you can't take all the enemies down fast enough

It’s extremely good in PvP as a punish when staggered. You can time it to go off point blank when they go to stagger punish you with pilebunkers and instantly fully stun them instead for your own punish.

You can make a more effective barrier if you make it right next to the building, when the missiles spawn they are very scattered, but they all hit the same spot in the building, so you can ajust the height and pop the bubble right before they hit the building and you will get zero damage/outliers

@DaWhiteGibusman that or you run a "death from above" build to pick off enough of the enemies that the drones can't pop the shield

I never thought of that... I just let the xylem shield tank the damage. I still got the S rank so it worked out.

Same, maybe xylen shield break is kind of script or dont matter for S rank

I figured out that little trick when I was trying to S rank every mission. It really helped, though I positioned it more immediately in front of the tower.

I never defended Xylem's shields, and every time this drones spawned I missed them all, because my AC is slow as fuck, and its unreal to fly in time to trajectory of drones flight to shoot them.

Used darksouls tools to double the FoV and shift the camera forward.

Yeah, i figured that out a little while ago. Its the wasiest way to keep the shield and get an s rank.

😶‍🌫little do they know, you can literally let every drone hit the tower and still get S-rank so long as you play the rest of the mission perfectly.

It's 90°, a completely normal FoV value.

@@thenaniboi9659 It's more immersive, I can literally bring my camera closer and still see the whole environment, instead of looking at it through a virtual pair of binoculars. I prefer all my games that way.
