I think Barry's gonna be really great as a coach, I think it's great that he's willing to help. I also don't think he's a disgrace, I think he's one of the true greats in Baseball, and as a Giants Fan, I'm really stoked that he's here!!! Before you start going after Barry, get your own house in order...

Good to have Barry back. Giants hitters could sure use his advice. Steroids aside very powerful hitting mechanics. GO GIANTS.

This guy is undeniable the best hitter of our time., his mechanics is beyond doubt check his career swings I think we really missed the chance to celebrate greatness. If he cheated am sure he is one of many if not all but his talent is the difference we missed

Barry Bonds. A remarkable human being. I miss his presence in the game. Baseball to me seems so boring since his retirement. We the fans do not need a passel of sports writers to dictate who gets into the hall of fame (many who never played "t" ball). lol. Barry Bonds a class act and "The People's" hall of famer.

Babe Ruth has nothing on this guy if Ruth played in Bonds era.

So if I cheat on an IQ test and get the highest score...am I the smartest person ever? By your reasoning, yes.

actually the pitching was slower and the pitchers had to pitch side arm (easier to see the ball out of the pitchers hand) so babe ruth had an advantage however BABE RUTH WAS STILL BETTER

turtle88cpte O please are we still on about this guy and steroids...Bonds was 1st ballot Hall of Famer BEFORE he allegedly took steroids. He was the best hitter in the league BEFORE he allegedly took steroids and he was the MLBs BEST player BEFORE he ALLEGEDLY took steroids. Bonds is one of the greatest players that I and many other people have had the privilege to watch and the key word in all of this...ALLEGEDLY. Not 1 failed test in his entire career and thats HUNDREDS of tests...Bonds is by far a better player than Ruth and his career numbers are living, breathing proof lol

turtle88cpte Babe Ruth played in a league with *NO BLACK PEOPLE.* That's fucking *HALF* of great eligible baseball players, so don't give us this bullshit that Babe Ruth was some baseball messiah. Yes, he was a great player, but it's easy to be the best player when you're playing in a league that discriminates against other fantastic ball players. The league would be much more difficult and competitive if players of other races were allowed.

I am NOT a Bonds fan. he was a real jerk when i met him at Yankee stadium when i was a kid and he was my Idol along with Michael jordan ( who actually is a really nice guy not a asshole like everyone says). But please search Barry bonds growth year by year. Barry Gradually got Big and never gained more then 10pounds in between a season like mark Mcgwuire who put on 26 pounds between 96 and 97. never failed a test either!!! First ballot deserving #barryisthebesthitterEVER

He would of never hit all them home runs without steroids...He will never be in the hall of fame cause he cheated...Mark McGwire wont either... He might have been a good hitter.. he didn't have any power...

Ho Lee Fuk they took the roids off his record because he passed a great amount of drug tests. Now he can go into the hall of fame because he was never guilt.

Just stop. Ty Cobb was a known racist, part of the KKK and tried to prevent blacks into baseball. That's just one of the guys who are douchebags in the HOF. Bonds was a HOF before the steroids era and should be after it.

They took the roids off his record so he can and probably will go into the hall of fame and when he played for the pirates he was still hitting bombs.
