Such a heartwarming story of two people who are the definition of soulmates. Thank you for putting all this hard work and effort into putting into this video. I had to pause the video just to say how beautiful this editing was oh my gosh. The clean cuts, the smooth transitions, and how sometimes when someone edits, you can tell it’s faked or some tiny detail is off, but here I couldn’t. If I didn’t watch the show I wouldn’t know it was edited. I love how you incorporated different shows too to use more instead of just limiting to the flash. This clearly took time, and it most certainly paid off.

Ok hear me out. I have a snowbarry headcannon: The year that nora came to the present was the last year that iris lived. She died someway. Then Barry went in a really dark place and pushed everyone away but cait wouldn't let him. She helped him grieve and get through the loss of iris just as he had helped her with ronnie. In a few years he realised that he had fallen in love with cait and cait realized she loved Barry too. Without knowing it they both got over their losses and eventually got together and that cait is actually noras mom not iris. Thawne told nora to play the role that iris is her mom because if they knew then it might not turn out the way it did. She was distant to iris because she isn't really her mom and closer to cait. She made up the whole chip story. Also at the start of the season when they did the dna test, 1) she is a speedster 2) she is from wayy in the future so she found out a way to manipulate the test results to look like her genes are Barry and iris. Her purple lightning is a mark from when the powers went to iris. So.. SNOWBARRY FOREVER.

Really, childhood friendship play the main role in iris and Barry's love and affection. They went through the loss of his mom. Iris's being there for him and believing in him.
