I agree it sounds very effective as an older man - it has a much more reflective feel to the song. Hard to believe he was gone 4 months later - falls are a big blow for people over a certain age, even the healthiest can struggle to recover from them...

RIP Barry. No one I’ve seen could portray the fragility of Pilate the way he could. You could really understand how tenuous he felt in his position as he struggles to quash an insurrection while trying to find any way possible to avoid putting Jesus to death. And when he unleashes that voice in all its fury, as he did in the Broadway production and the film, it was truly astounding. Such a fine artist. Hopefully you are raising your voice with the angels.
