I always thought the ex line was just a generic line. I never took it to be about a specific person. I see a lot of swifties try to label a song/line about a specific person, and I feel like it often gets to the point where it strips the work. You're supposed to relate to music from a personal perspective foremost, but often times fans try to "decode" it from the artists point of view

That is true, however, as an English student (and even before that, we did this in high school too), when analysing a text we look at the words for what they are, and then we search for the context of why the writer thought that or what inspired it. I see a lot of people contributing this to only swifties but in reality, we've all been doing that since at least high school. Also, rap songs often require context or knowing it's about a specific person to better understand the lyrics. Modern example: people have to research about Drake and Kendrik to understand the songs they so romantically dedicated to one another Older example: In Romeo and Juliet 'A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet'; without context: Juliet saying she will love him regardless of his name; with context: There was a rival theatre called The Rose and they always had a sewage problem, in other words Shakespeare throwing shade at a theatre named after a pretty flower but always smelling like shit

It's fine to study text/lyrics from an analytical point of view, but I'm talking about rushing to listen to the new album just so people can decipher and add to the lore, not to genuinely listen and enjoy the work. Labeling each and every song as "this is about Joe" or "this is about Matty" or "this is about Travis" gets repetitive and soulless after a while. Let a song be an abstract thing, that can be emotionally loaded and mean many different things. Unless it's something like "So Long London" or "Dear John" where she's obvious about it, take the theories with a grain of salt cause that's what they are. Theories. In this specific case people genuinely thought Sabrina was calling out Barry's ex and that's so extreme. It's a basic throwaway line. It's not an "Easter egg" or a "dig". Not a Sabrina fan the way Angelika is (literally only really listen to Espresso and Please) but I watched a video talking about how her song 'Please Please Please' points out something....interesting...about hetero relationships. Why does the woman in a relationship always have to answer for shit her male partner does? When Kanye was acting out people wanted a response from Kim - even when they were no longer together. When Taylor Swift dated Matty Healy everyone wanted her to answer for the awful shit he'd said in an interview. People also do this for internet famous couples. You never see people calling for a husband/boyfriend to apologize for his wife/girlfriend's actions. When a man acts out its embarrassing for his partner as well - sometimes even more so than it is for him. Men dont have to answer for the behavior of women while we not only have to police ourselves and make sure we're following the rules and being good, we also have to police our male partners. All this to say, why is it Sabrina Carpenter's responsibility to publicly answer for her boyfriends parenting? For all any of us know she's encouraging a more physical presence in his sons life. For all we know, he's with his son whenever he can be and already is involved. But also, if he was a woman and Sabrina was a man, both at the same popularity levels they are now, she would be berated for being a shit mother regardless of how loved Barry was. But instead, Barry has his actions excused due to how people feel about Sabrina while people want Sabrina to answer for his actions. It's just...we can never win.

I don't think that the sexism is not there but I wouldn't say that's the main factor for these situations. Usually it's the more popular member who gets more scrutiny. In all those positions you mentioned it's the woman who's more popular and I can think of paintings where the men have gotten scrutiny for their partners reputation. Both Timothee Chalamet and Bad Bunny got scrutiny for dating a Kardashian. People do tend to be much harsher on the women since some people seem to think women are born therapists meant to "fix" and make their man better but it still happens the other way around. I think people just don't care because it's such a pedestrian accusation. I'm in the same camp honestly. They chose to have a baby very early on and before she really knew him so that doesn't make her guilty for becoming a single mother but I wouldn't say she has a small amount of responsibility for the situation she's in now. He's not active but he's still involved with her and the baby so it's not that bad. Caring about something that's this personal to their lives feels so parasocial. He's not committing a crime and honestly with all these PDF files and wife beaters with more fame and money than him I think he's doing just fine. Not everyone is meant to be a father and that's fine. He could do better but with his job being what it is he was never going to be able to be the best father just time wise. Actors have crazy schedules and we don't know how often he calls and checks in on them or if he's good with his child support but we know her mom likes him which is something.

A woman will get shamed for cheating or saying something petty and "pick me"ish. So for trying too hard. A man will not get shamed for that and will not get shamed for much until they start hitting actual crimes. If a man dates a woman who cheats then that's kinda a very personal choice he's willingly taking a chance, taking a risk. If a woman dates a man known to be a wife beater, a man who said 12 yr olds are hot, a man who said all black people should burn in a fire then it's a bit of a different situation. I think a lot of people expect better since the red flags are neon and hard to miss. They are co-signing their behavior and setting a bad example. Such an obviously wrong choice that it transcends the "personal choice" argument. A man committing crimes is basically beyond saving. What's the point of telling a murderer "murder is wrong"? They know that clearly do not care. It's easier to critique their partner since they probably have more chances to actually get through to them.

Try going in your camera settings, and see if AF is locked or not. Might help if you lock it, and then sit down whilst you sit where you usually sit -> lightly press the shutter button (not all the way). That should lock it on, and when you do so, if it's locked it should stop jumping. Alternatively it's having a hard time due to the amount of contrast so autofocus doesn't know what it wants you to focus on. Maybe there is a face priority setting in your camera.

I think the focus issue is due to your background being too busy, maybe try (if possible) to situate yourself further away from the bookshelf so the distance between you and the bookshelf is larger than the distance between you and the camera. You can also use a backdrop or a less busy background. Hope it helps
