Written by a couple of Brits, Andy Hill and Pete Sinfield. It's on a short list of favorite songs. This Manilow performance has the original lyrics, which Barry modified for his 1989 recording. This led me, some years later, to Bucks Fizz' original 1986 recording, which opened the door to more from that group, which had a great run in the UK in the 80's, but couldn't crack the charts here. And that's a shame.
