good interview. Barry is my favourite fighter of all. His fight against Pedrosa was epic, and the loss to Cruz under those ridiculous conditions was hard to bear. All aside, though, what a boxer he was. ❤

Great Podcast . McGuigan is quite a man. Went to watch a South African fighter Brian Baronet fight in 1988. He fought an American Kenny Vice and also died as a result of his injuries 3 days later I think. Very sad and apparantly he had been in a car crash 4 days prior to the fight in which he was knocked out. yet he was still cleard. Just crazy really. Very sad day for SA boxing.

Kudos to Barry for his down to earth attitude and dedicating his world champion win to “Young Ali” You can see in his heart it still bother him as it would any human being . A brutal sport indeed . Formula 1 or NASCAR also brutal I guess but do the managers feel the same guilt . Good Man Barry .
