Frampton was a traitor. Now read on.. In testimony, Mr Frampton said he was not aware of the allegations that MTK was a “front” for a criminal organisation. Mr McGuigan revealed how he and his family received abusive messages from trolls prior to the start of the trial. But he was “happy” that people were then able to hear his and promoter son Blain’s side of the story during the trial. The end.

I was 11yrs old when Barry fought Francisco Tomas da Cruz at the Luton Stadium Kenilworth Rd in 1988. Myself and friends used to go to the local boxing Gym for Vauxhall employees.A week or so before the fight one night as we arrived for training Barry was leaving the Gym as we were going in. As kids and fans of boxing we were starstruck. What a guy he stood chatting to us and signed autographs for what seemed like ages. Will never forget it he was an absolute gent.Great interview Simon 🥊🥊

Great memory of watching Barry beat Pedrosa for world title on tv , what a fighter , pleasure to hear his informative insight and honesty on fighters passed and present . His memory of the opponent dying was so heart felt , then you have Deontay Wilder saying he would like a body on his record.

Barry. i still get shivers down my spine when i watch your fight at loftus road v Pedroza. a small kid i was at the time and because the fight was on tv i watched it with my dad. we knew you had it in you to beat a great champion that Pedroza was. I know your father meant the world to you, the introduction, hearing him sing Danny boy and the crowd joining in. you just dont get magic moments like this in boxing now. god bless you barry.

I was intrigued to watch this because Barry and his son seemed to have fell out quite strongly with some in the boxing world over the years. I wanted to weigh up Barry and see if some of the negative rumblings ive heard could show up here with him but I've got to say he came across as a brilliant bloke with good morals and a good heart. Great interview and going on face value Barry seems a lovely guy who has done Ireland and his family proud.

Great and wise words from one of the great Featherweights - Barry McGuigan. Although he got a mention in passing I thought the great Azumah Nelson would have been discussed more, as he and Barry had a great rivalry in the mid to late Eighties. As good as Bary was I never thought, and still don't, that Barry would have beaten Azumah; furthermore I believe that a prime Nassem Hamed would have had too much all-around ability for him too. Thoroughly enjoyed the interview - thanks for uploading.
