I just bought a 23 Lariat for the same price as this. I like the wraparound LED design on the front that they cheaped out on/got rid of on the 24 XLT.

Great, video, my father just got a 2023 xlt with the 5.0. I have to say I honestly prefer the looks of the 23 over the new 24. The front end looks worse over all with the new head light design. I much prefer the led running light design. I will say though the nice big instrument cluster is nice. I have an 08 f150 Xlt. And well, let's just say the xlt name gets you a lot more than it did in 08,

I was all about that blue cruise until learning that it is subscription based. Having to pay a yearly fee to use features that are in the truck is a big turn off for me.

Eco mode makes the acceleration act tighter; the gas pedal is harder. Bluetooth is worth it @ $800 a year it’s ridiculous! I do well for myself and yet would not give Ford $800 for Bluecruise

@@jonathancrist198253 unfortunately ford messed with it during the 2018-2020 model years and it’s been problematic. I have a 2019 in my fleet and it burns a lot of oil and has some other issues. I don’t know why they had to mess with a good thing. Hopefully the new Gen 4 coyotes are good again. I have now the gen 2 2.7 ecoboost and that is now my favorite engine.

There is 3 levels of tow pkgs, this truck has the mid level pkg with a lot of HD items but the brake controller is not included. You, the dealer, or a shop can add it easily. My 2018 has mid level tow and no controller 😖

Undercoating is a fantastic add, I had my 13' undercoated and it's holding up awesome, it's money well spent for winter and salty environments. i just can't do $60k and for that you shouldn't have subscriptions for features built in.

@@Bronco2Cj I really think that ford is purposely taking things away from the XLT to make a higher profit by getting people to go to a higher trim. For example, now you have to get into a lariat to get the chrome grill and the DRL’s that you mentioned. I guess I can just keep driving my 21. I like the looks of it better and I have the chrome grill. My feelings on this is that it’s a marketing scheme that’s going to end up biting them but that’s just my two cents.

I have same truck but fx4 pkg and some extra options I picked but just LOVE the 2.7 and how it beats any v8 stock feom a light and pulls anything a guy would ask from a halftone. Mileage it as good as it gets without being electric. Average 9.7 to 10 city hwy combined. 1280 to 1300 to a tank. Comfort is perfect and just all around awesome. Can't beleive people would rather a chevy or a ram. Each to their own I suppose. I like the light up emblems

Ford needs to go back to the drawing board and do a redesign of interiors with better materials all trims look like a work truck very cheap and a nicer stronger body to flimsy and put coyote in higher trim models and power running boards on lariat on up Ram and GMC are building a better and nicer truck right now do better Ford your losing the market go away Farley!!

Ram and GMC interior have really done a great job. The price on the 25 reflects there confidence in there truck. It’s 10-15% more expensive than a Ford. I wish they would make a truck to compete with the Raptor R!

@@CTECH-REVIEW Yes, I see rust on the axles and near the hubs. Also, drive shaft and differential I’m beginning to see rust. The truck was built in October 2023 and has only 4K miles. I’m really upset about it. I know Ford said it’s just “surface rust” but it’s unacceptable for a 54k truck.

Love that dash over the new dash in F250 and now in the higher trim F150. Overall a nice well equipped truck. Ford really made the 24' F150's a lot better looking. I felt the 21-23 took a step back on the front end. This refresh gives them a premium more aggressive look. "Tough" is the perfect way of describing it. I wish they brought some of the "tough" back on the new Super Dutys. XLT trim is not bad, cant go wrong with XLT and up. Very nice job Ford.
