Neymar is a genius player, don't get me wrong, I even think he is more talented than CR7 (how he played against Croatia in Qatar with an injury and scoring a solo goal was an example of what he is capable of even without taking football seriously), but Lewandowski already surpassed him, for me he's already the third best player of his generation after CR7 and Messi, that's a shame he couldn't win those two balon d'or in 2020/2021 respectively

As enjoyable as Neymar is to watch, his playstyle is so inefficient at times and it made him so prone to injuries throughout his whole career. If he had been smart, he would have changed his playstyle like Cristiano Ronaldo did when he was about 23 years old. Ronaldo used to try out a lot of tricks as well during his Sporting and United years. It's fun to watch, but often it's just a waste of energy and possession.
