Tom Jones is STILL on The Voice UK as a Judge, & often sings a song whilst he is there. Love Mark Knopfler too, such a brilliant guitarist.

Sir Tom Jones now 84 1/2 still at work in live concerts and coach on The Voice UK. He used to sing after shows in Las Vegas and possibly other places in the States with Elvis, they were good friends for at least ten years of the remaining life of Elvis. They would sing Gospel which Sir Tom loves

'Green green grass of Home', 'I'll Never Fall in Love Again', are 2 of Tom in a more somber, but powerful mode.

That was a little disingenuous to the incredible accompanying guitar work of the great Mark Knopfler I thought. Both men contributed equally to a really beautiful performance of a lovely song, I thought.

You might like to check out the series Johnson and Knopfler's Music Legends where Brian Johnson of AC/DC and Mark Knopfler interview fellow music legends. The first episode is with Tom Jones.

call me crazy or stupid, but I hear Brian Johnson in Toms voice. I never really listened to Tom Jones and always assumed he was American. not until this reaction had I ever really heard his voice. immediately I heard the Brian accent, growl, tone. different styles of course, but I am sure they were both from the same area. just sayin'.

If you mean Brian Johnson from AC/DC, he was born in County Durham England......Tom Jones was born in the south of Wales .....separated by about 300 miles

He's another one of those problematic Welsh. They all seem to be able to deliver a song with power and nuance.

ya he has an amazing voice but what has he done with it for to help humanity. Very little. He is a very rich man and so gets little form me for being so and not giving it away as fast as he makes it now that he has a lot more then he needs. Yes he gives some but only that which his accounts tell him he has to to get out of some tax or other. Nothing more.

FYI......Jones sang ‘Delilah’ with opera star Luciano Pavarotti at the tenor’s annual charity concert in aid of Afghan refugees. In 1992, Jones recorded a version of “All You Need Is Love” for ChildLine and performed in a live stage performance of Dylan Thomas’ “Under Milkwood” to benefit the Prince's Trust. He also supported the Prince’s charity in 2001 at the London fundraiser “Party In The Park”. In 1993, Tom recorded version of the Rolling Stones’ classic “Gimme Shelter” to benefit the UK homeless charity, Shelter, and sang at Sting's annual show at Carnegie Hall to benefit his charity, The Rainforest Foundation. My God Bays you are one bitter apology for a man. How dare you try to tell somebody what they should do with their money. The fact that he may be well off is totally irrelevant.
