BART Parking Confusion Reigns in Walnut Creek

Really unclear reporting. It's unclear if the issue is misuse of the Bart sign/logo, if there's a contract between the company and Bart that isn't being honored, how who actually owns the structure (since Bart apparently has sway with the company), etc. Most of the video just makes it seem like the bay area hates private companies, which is not the case, and this is the result of unclear reporting and bad video editing (that guy's complaints are confusing when intermixed with the reporting itself).

Bart should charge the “private parking garage company” a fee. The use of their facilities is obviously increased by the proximity to the bart.

it is also confusing for dropoff and pickup, you have to go through that private parking garage to get to the pickup point to pick up a person who has ridden there by BART! No signage to that effect.

2:15 Sign says "SP+ Parking" I mean it's a bitch move by the private company but if you didn't see the sign you can't really put all the blame on them. And if it's $15 (which is different from your usual $3), isn't that kind of a red flag already?

Motivation. Socialism and capitalism just don't mix. Sea to shining sea is neat. Making it work requires motivation. Making sure that capitalism doesn't leave victims requires government (socialism). Some people just don't make the connection and entertain 'greed' and meanness. Sure will be neat when both sides of the bay (BART) extend into San Jose (meeting up somewhere and then still have two lines into San Jose) and the rest of 'Silicon Valley'.

From the video, it's a bait-and-switch situation. Entry into the BART-run garage is only accessible through the private-run garage, but the private-run garage uses BART's logos and none of its own and thus does not delineate itself as a different entity.
