I wonder why he put the beginning to the album track, "Stone Meadows" at the start of this? Kind of cool and makes the explosive beginning even more startling. I do like how this song (on the record) and "Boomer" just start. This guy is amazing. Great sensibilities and stop on a dime pivots in the songs that always lead to interesting genre blending and diversions that just add to the song's appeal. I definitely hear "Silent Alarm"-era Bloc Party in here. The way they would do the same thing with the quick breaks and percussive flourishes. His first LP of original material and he is already this good? Take notice rock n'roll and be dormant or irrelevant no more.
