The X-Men’s jet was called the Blackbird and that “Wolverine sword” actually belonged to Psylocke. Oh and Wolverine has had many katanas, with one of his villains being called Silver Samurai. Edit: Also, NO WAY! I was just looking at a custom Slapdash (same recipe) yesterday! What are the chances of that!

I am much more inclined to believe Maccadam looking like you was intentional now. He already had that sort of design, but I think they tweaked it just a bit to get that look down. The name is a bit of a coincidence, though, since he's been around since the 1980's.

I kinda like how Ultimate X-panse looks in all the body parts. It's the way the plane bits are mostly just sorta hanging out around him that messes up the look a bit. Shame they weren't integrated into the figure a bit more. Oh, and that Lego Skywarp looked rad. Well impressive building there.

Yes, the X-Men had a jet. Yes, it was the SR-71 Blackbird. Yes, in most renditions of their story, they started with it being Stock, and then they started letting people like Forge or the Shi'ar tinker with it so it got superscience upgrades. So really, the idea of it being reworked such that it has a 'giant mecha' mode isn't THAT far out of left field.

Hearing the reaction from the dude who came round was similar to the reaction I got from the carpet fitter when he came to measure my bedroom. He said "wow! That's some collection that!
