My understanding of the form was that it wasn't just a flat stat increase, but it drastically altered the way damage was dealt in a similar fashion to the gentle fist. But instead of just blocking chakra, it evaporates it entirely. Instead of a flat damage increase it deals max health % each hit.

Instead of trying to get control of Naruto to be free, he literally using his own Chakra as fuel to super charge Naruto at the cost of just his own chakra with nothing taken from Naruto. It's literally his character going full circle. Swapping eyes to get around the negative affects of over using sharringan, amateurish, and Susanoo aren't asspull? Aight bet. Sasuke literally got stabbed through the heart and you wanna talk about plot armor? The whole series is named after him and you are complaining he's the main character in an action Shonen jump series? 🙄 Naruto doesn't train? Bruh there's literally entire episodes dedicated to showing how hard Naruto trains. Maybe if you didn't listen to sites that tell you which eps to skip if you just want main plot and Sasuke time, you'd know that. Imagine if someone mastered Baryon mode with perfect sage power and just constantly drained chakra from the environment to use in fusion. That'd be some scary shit. Baryon mode is already supposed to chip at the life force of enemies that it hits (while also depleting the user's life force), with a constant chakra suction aura as well, Sage Baryon would just be a destructive black hole.

Kurama is smart but the smartest creature in the whole series has to be Gamamaru. The oldest toad, has been around before the 9 tail beast were created, before Zetsu, before Kaguya sons, the only creature able to see decades into the future, the one who trained Hagaromo senjutsu and warned him about his mother Kaguya devious plans. the plan was to shave away at what's left of isshiki's life, the mode could have been there for a long long time, but basically unusable because itll kill naruto/kurama prematurely, but shave away only a few days of the opponent's lifespan, which is why, against isshiki who only had a few days to live/implant a karma, it was perfect, because even if it doesnt hit hard enough to defeat isshiki, it ends his life prematurely, which caused him to run out of time, ultimately killing him

Heck, this video is a praise for a character’s ingenius who was killed to further Boruto’s story. I think its understandable that people are frustrated with the route the story has take. Personally, I just can’t find the will to bother with the series when it just feels like a knock off Naruto (of which there’s a very easy solution and that would be to make himawari the protagonist). But I guess I’m a hater for not liking something (honestly the fact that “hater” has devolved from a valid concern of someone who blindly dislikes/complains about something for no reason to “UGH this person doesn’t like what I do like. Better invalidate their opinion.” Is a problem of its own). I can still choose to enjoy videos like this, which extrapolate the very very very very very very brief moments I enjoy in Boruto. Isshiki/Jigen was completely owning Naruto and Sasuke at the same time twice. Even Kaguya and Momoshiki after absorbing Kinshiki struggled against the two of them together so Isshiki was something else. People also forget that when Naruto was in baryon mode he was holding back and pulling his punches. Kurama even said not to make unnecessary movements because that was the key to making it last longer. Naruto wasn’t even going all out in baryon mode and the time limit only made it worse for him. It so sad that we didn’t even get to see the full potential of this mode.

They just don't continue the power creep where Shippuden left off. Reground the series and don't jump to fights that need kage to deal with everything. I stopped at episode 18, but after social media said how good it was getting I decided to see it through. One of the best decisions I ever made in my adult life. Once you stomach the first 30-40 episodes the anime it’s all fantastic. There’s so much of that Naruto sentimentality in it I couldn’t believe it. All the emotions I felt watching Naruto as a kid and adult I felt a lot of the same emotions watching boruto. I love this video. I'm a huge fan of the baryon transformation. I got into a debate with some friends of mine who were not so impressed. They thought it was pretty boring and I don't think they grasped the immense power of it. Ultimately, I think that as anime/manga fans we have grown accustomed to flashed and visually stunning displays of power. Take the Indra and Asura modes for instance. They were blowing apart the landscape and wiping forests out. But Baryon Mode is much difference because of the logic behind it. I believe Kurama tells him to make no unnecessary moves and that perfectly shows the cost of a transformation that easily smacks around a character who was having zero challenge against two of the most powerful characters to exist.

I would attribute Baryon mode to all the tailed beast Chakra, compressed into Naruto, and transformed to where the form is intensified to the point where every movement consumes such a large amount of Chakra at once that tailed beast Chakra might aswell be equivalent to that of a typical shinobi, if not a genin shinobi. Not even Asura Mode consumed that much Chakra at once. And since it even drains from the opponent with every hit, you could possibly even say that his power may vary slightly depending on the opponent. And because we can probably assume all the other tailed beasts' Chakra that was inside Naruto was connected to Kuruma, (Because I don't think they'd let Naruto keep that.), that probably added to the form aswell. Even the Otsutsuki seem to draw from the Juubi for power, since they are pure Chakra. You can only imagine what Baryon mode is like, since Naruto and the tailed beast Chakra are essentially merged fully, unlike with previous forms where the two Chakras were merely linked and Kurama was merely sharing a fraction of it at a time with naruto and would then sleep after Naruto had drained him a little too much. Baryon mode = Kurama (+Other Tailed Beast Chakra) Compressed and Transformed (Possibly by nuclear fusion). Just my opinion.

It can't even shave a DAY off the opponent's life span. It only came in clutch against Isshiki due to his critical condition. It's a mode that was thought of last second because Isshiki having 20 hours left and Naruto bringing it down to 5 minutes which later ultimately defeats him is totally not coincidental (Not that this matters). Now IF BM took away HUGE amounts of time off the opponent's life and/or let Naruto use Ninjutsu in it (That Rasengan in the anime was a filler moment), or hell even made his punches/kicks superhuman like Guy's 8th Gate punches/kicks, then it would be OP! It doesn't do any of that though.... It's just an enhanced speed buff mode which decreases the opponent's life span by a pathetic amount, and again, only came in clutch against Isshiki due to his critical condition. This is one of, if not the most overrated mode in anime. Please use your brains people

Let's be honest for a minute: You *really* got to cherry-pick in order to make Naruto, the anime, great. You'd have to ignore most or all fillers, ignore entire arcs and just cut the later parts out. On average, it's good. 7/10. Which is a shame because it could've easily been at least 9/10. Even the manga severely dropped the ball on multiple occasions. Naruto isn't the pain arc - which is a masterpiece, but only in the context of Naruto.

Like in Dragonball, fights always "look the same," because the only blatant indication of speed is how badly somebody is beating someone else, and a spectator says the tired "He's fast!" Muscular and striking strength is also infamously difficult. Naruto, as well as Sasuke and other S tier character have ventured well beyond 8 gates guy in terms of Strength and speed, but they do not alter space or affect air the way guy did. Baryon mode is unquantifiably fast and strong, but the force of his high speed movements and the impact of his colossal punches does not alter his environment any more then his usual max power taijutsu feats at far lesser levels of power. Like we know Naruto has been physically stronger than Sakura and Tsunade for a damn while, but exactly how much stronger is he in comparison in both base form and with Six paths sage mode and complete Kurama chakra mode stacked?

The biggest drawback of Baryon Mode is simply its duration. With all the immense chakra that Naruto + Kurama had, it barely lasted 5 minutes. But if it didn’t drain the user so fast, it would be one of the most op abilities ever. Considering the power Otsutsuki’s have, the fact that Naruto shaved off almost a day’s worth of life (or the chakra/life force equivalent) from Isshiki, who was the most powerful character in the Narutoverse so far, means the effect on a normal person would be instantly fatal.

Actually the chakra of Naruto wasnt consumed because if his chackra was consumed he would die Whit kurama but the baryon mode will be a lot broken and its duratuion would be a lot more

The reason Baryon mode is considered a new kind of energy is because it takes Naruto’s and Kurama’s chakra and replicates nuclear fusion. But it only used up all of Kurama’s chakra instead of all of both, which is why he was the only casualty. The details are kind complicated cause…well we’re not nuclear scientists.
