I do really like the concept because it's very different from most normal powerups. Instead of simply giving more Chakra/Ki/Reiatsu or s different type (divine Ki, destroyer Ki, etc.) it actually takes what the user already has and "Burns" it to create a totally different type of energy.

@@77dd2 Naruto literally uses Lava Rasenshuriken against delta,and we see the bijuu mourning Kurama from inside of Naruto,and he briefly goes into cloakless six paths sage mode while powering up against Isshiki, as you can see his pupils are crosses, he also levitates at multiple points, so Naruto never lost either of those things and there is nothing suggesting that he did other than his lack of truthseeker orbs, but it was shown in shippuden that they can be destroyed, and we even saw them get destroyed against sasuke, and kaguya. Also if you actually watched the Anime or read the manga, sasuke literally uses Ameterasu against borushiki after getting his rinnegan stabbed out.

I think Sasuke is a bit easier to quantify since he still has his EMS. Sasuke now is probably comparable to like prime Madara (like the one that fought Hashirama in the valley of the end), which would still make him leagues above everyone else in the series, but still significantly weaker than before. Naruto is a weird case because he lost his main source of immense chakra, but he should theoretically still have the six paths chakra which gives him a massive amp, as well as his own chakra being strong enough to be a perfect sage. Compared to every other normal ninja, these two should still be miles ahead of everyone else, but they're both way weaker than the ridiculous hax villains that have been in Boruto thus far.

I think Naruto is still stronger than all the other Kage, albeit not by a gigantic amount anymore. He still has Sage Mode and his Rasenshuriken, and those two factors were enough to beat the Third Raikage. It depends on whether Naruto still has Six Paths Sage Mode or the chakra of the other Tailed Beasts. We don't know yet.

I never understood why they made Kurama so above every other Tailed Beasts. I understand that the more tails the beast has, the stronger it is so Kurama being stronger than the others isn't the problem. I would be very interested in seeing a video of how stron Naruto and Sasuke is without Fox and Rinnegan. But I'ma say it anyways. Naruto's Rasengan and Sage Mode are still not to be trifled with, and Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan is still an amazing ocular tool. Tbh why doesn’t Sasuke take madaras rinnegan, or at least one of his sharingan, to make up for his missing eye. Adding an ems which has the ability to reverse time to his left eye socket would arguably make him stronger than him with his rinnegan, considering it’s the same principle as Sasukes rinnegan ability, if you screw up you get another chance, without the absurd chakra consumption. Edit: I say all this because we don’t know what happened to madaras body, but I’m assuming either Naruto or Sasuke put it in a safe place, so Sasuke could just take an eyeball and Naruto could take some hashirama cells.

Bruh it’s kinda weird how Kurama is considered the main source and largest portion of Naruto’s power. Madara and Hashirama could both take complete Kurama down easily yet somehow Naruto managed to fight six paths Obito using only a portion of that power. So Naruto with half of Kurama scales to Six Paths Obito while complete Kurama scales below Madara and Hashirama. That means a significant portion of the power Naruto used is his and his alone. Now you’re telling me that without Kurama, Naruto got super nerfed? Let’s say Kurama equals 1/2 Madara. If Naruto at this point equals 300 Madara, losing 1/2 Madara means he still has 299.5 Madara left in him. Basically even if Naruto loses Kurama he should still be significantly stronger than he was in the Kaguya arc. To be fair I am probably missing some plot device where Naruto losing Kurama takes away all his power, some shit like that.

How strong? Relevant to Kinshiki, but weaker. How dangerous is he vs how dangerous he could be is a bit of a different question. Cause he could theoretically crush your organs, or cause blood clots from the inside kilometers away. He just doesn't use it that way. Closest thing is stopping Madara's movements, but he could've killed him then and there if he just moved the sand to his heart instead. There could be the argument for people being able to counter things in their own body, if they are aware of it and know how. Which chakra control seems to be central point of a genins training, as most of the genin in the chunin exams could at least stick to vertical and inverted surfaces. So maybe that's a reason. But I 100% agree that the sand users could be much more lethal in theory than they are in practice. The one showing the most versatility in a single fight being Sasori's 3rd Kazekage puppet. Turning the sand into various weapons and controlling the battlefield over simply catching targets and crushing them with overwhelming amounts of sand. But this should be possible for all of them. Experience could be a factor here. Part of Gaara's character development in the war was him getting better and more creative throughout the war. And Sasori was much older and accustomed to kage level combat against opponents on the same level in his fight. Kazekage Gaara gets a bit less of an excuse in this area though. Sorry for the long answer. Gaara's one of my favorites, and it's nice to see someone else out there thinking about this.

Transformation jutsu applies the physical properties of the object a thing is being transformed into. Turning into metal makes one magnetic, for example (this is important when considering Gaara's ability). Transformation jutsu can be dispelled by the user from seemingly any range. As evidenced by the surprise factor when something de-transforms when it's already mid-air. Transformation jutsu does not have a limit on how many can be transformed at once and if there is one, it's not specified. Transformation jutsu can change a large object (person) into a small object (kunai) and vice versa. No limit is specified, but let's say the maximum is somewhere in the ballpark or person-to-kunai, so about 100-to-1 ratio. Therefore, Gaara has a few applications with his ability to move billions of tiny particles around with his mind. Application 1: copy Konan's sea of explosive tags, but instead of an immobile underwater stash, you have gaara sand tsunami someone and while the enemy is surrounded by sand, de-transform said sand back into explosive tags. Application 2a: turn the maximum sized larger-than-sand-particle object into a sand particle and then shove a small amount of sand inside someone's orifices and de-transform them, causing the volume to expand 100 fold instantly, which means it has more force than any known conventional explosive. Use application 1 for inspiration with explosive tags and double the boom. Application 2b: if there is no size limit, well... make THAT into a sand particle and send it flying at max speed and then de-transform it. You thought Madara's double meteor was impressive? Try that times a thousand... and the meteors are flying at the speed of sound. We're talking end of the world, here. Application 3: Have Baryon mode naruto turn into a grain of sand and put him inside white horn guy. So to answer your question: Gaara is pretty strong.

I'd be interested to see him replicate this in short bursts using Nature Energy instead of Kyuubi chakra. By the principles Kurama was explaining, it shouldn't be difficult, but it would require Naruto to be consistently refilling his Nature Energy while keeping up with the fight going on in front of him (same way he did during fights in Shippuden, but at a much faster pace). It would probably have a different aesthetic because it'd be derived from Sage Mode instead of KCM, but who knows, maybe not. Whatever happens, he would have to train himself to use this Baryon Sage Mode responsibly and carefully without Kurama's presence there to keep him informed and focused during fights. In Sasuke's case, it would make for an interesting character arc for the medical team to offer him a Hashirama-cell arm transplant to give him his left arm back. As Swag has said before, this would probably awaken the Rinnegan in his right eye (though we don't know if it would come with teleportation), and Sasuke would be able to make great use of the regenerative and chakra-boosting attributes of having Hashirama cells implanted. It's not the same, but it wouldn't be worth nothing, especially since Madara going from one Rinnegan to two made him even more busted than he was before in Shippuden.

Another great video breaking down a new Form from the Narutoverse. However, as much as I like how cool this new Mode looks and how it helped Naruto beat Isshiki, I still can't help but shake the feeling it was just introduced as a means of getting rid of Kurama. Isshiki only had around 20 hours to live when Naruto and Kurama pulled out this new Mode and at the end he had less than 10 minutes left on his lifespan after fighting Baryon Mode Naruto. Likewise as u stated, it roughly has the same time limit as when Obito returned and gifted Kakashi his remaining chakra and Mangekyō Sharingan's to fight Kaguya. The only problem with this is, if it was any other opponent that wasn't an Ōtsutsuki, Naruto would easily stomp them in this Mode. But against Isshiki it worked because Naruto's previous Modes weren't enough. Side note: I went back into the Naruto Shippuden manga and anime, I discovered that Naruto used 2 or 3 Truth-Seeking Orb rods to restrain Madara's Limbo Clone. Why doesn't Naruto still have those Truth-Seeking Orbs? I know they probably wouldn't have evened the odds against Isshiki but it's the small things that matter and would have made it a lot easier to know when Naruto entered his Six Paths Sage Mode in Boruto for many fans. And to quote another Naruto reviewer, Mastar Media, he stated he believed that this form only worked because Isshiki's lifespan was already so short. He states that it's a highly inefficient form that only seemed to last for a minute before Naruto's chakra dwindled down to zero. And that while it did dwindle Isshiki's life down from 20 hours to 10 minutes, means that it would be ineffective against anyone who wasn't already old or on the verge of death. Ur basically killing yourself for a short term drastic power boost that ur only shortening ur enemies lifespan by roughly 1 day. Now I will admit that this only applies if the opponent is an Ōtsutsuki instead of some random human Shinobi. But Mastar Media continues to say that, in his opinion, it's a very bad form that only worked for this occasion against this particular opponent because of Isshiki's short lifespan. And he also is puzzled by this because he wonders why Naruto couldn't just apply the principles of Nuclear Fission, allowing him to separate his and Kurama's Chakra at any moment to prevent either of them from dying in this form, and allow Naruto to enter or exit this new Mode whenever. I hate to say this, but Mastar Media's review of the Baryon Mode only further pushes my belief that the Boruto writers introduced this new Mode purely for the purpose of nerfing Naruto in order to make Boruto look like he truly is the only one capable of stopping whatever this big bad threat that's coming.

Isn't that obviously, they did remove sasuke's rinengan in the same episode. At least the nerf is reasonable cause it was used against one of the strongest villain in the franchise and not from an unexplained nerf like naruto's truth seeker orbs. The execution of naruto losing kurama is justified but they could have add more to sasuke's rinnegan like showing flashback of momoshiki actually ploting to stab sasuke. The nerf is necessary tho unless the writer want to introduce stronger villain to scale with naruto and sasuke. The nerf also help to add stake or tension to future development especially for momoshiki's inevitable revival.

Being off guard is a big deal in Naruto. Chakra is used to consciously guard one's body from attack. This is why Shin was able to stab Naruto off guard, its why Hashirama was going to end his life with a kunai, its why Hashirama was able to stab Madara with a sword. So yes, Isshiki is leagues stronger than Kaguya and he'd speed blitz and delete her like a file on a computer within 2 seconds. She caught him off guard and sucker punched him.

Do you or does anyone have any theories on Inner Sakura? I've been wondering for years but what exactly is it because it doesn't seem only be what Sakura is thinking. It seems like a whole second being inside of her considering it's around while Sakura is conscious. It has strong enough of an existance to attack Inos conscious when she invades. I don't know if the games are Canon or not since they follow the timeline for story mode, but in the games, Inner Sakura can physically appear separate from Sakura to land a physical attack during the ultimate, and appears during normal attacks in the older games. It doesn't seem like that hard of a thing to speculate but I see no coverage or theories about it anywhere. Am I missing something important here or...?

First off, no, of course the games are not canon. They take the actual canon stories from the anime/manga and very openly change whatever they want about it, constantly contradicting the source material. They ROUGHLY follow the actual plot at best, and at worst they just do random shit that never comes anywhere close to happening in the manga or anime. No shade, they're fun games, but trying to use them as a source for anything is just stupid. Aside from that, "Inner Sakura" is... VERY obviously just Sakura's willpower represented through a joke. It's not even a very funny joke, which is why it basically stopped happening entirely after the chunin exams. It was just meant to show Sakura's "inner self" for comedic relief, so to speak, because the author (in roughly his own words) stated himself that he did not like Sakura and always intended for her to be a side character/comedic relief. Until part 2, he never considered giving her a real powerup and viewed the whole character as a joke. He just wanted a way to illustrate her inner dialogue and thoughts so he could make her say dumb shit even when she wasn't talking. That was literally the entire purpose of it. It "attacks" Ino because it's a meta representation of what's going on in Sakura's mind, nothing more. Sakura just overcame the Mind Transfer Jutsu the same way LITERALLY EVERYBODY ELSE DOES: through willpower, which happened to be pretty much the only thing she had going for her at the time. Come on, don't get silly. This isn't worth theorizing about, and even if it became a real thing, it would be very stupid and would just make Sakura a joke again.

He thought of her as a joke and a complete side character, so he actively tried not to do anything interesting with her (until it became obvious people really wanted to see her not be a useless background character). In other words, "inner sakura" was just meant to be a joke, and Sakura herself was never meant to have any noteworthy serious traits until late into the series.

I really suggest you watch the episodes adapting ishiki fight. It's like 3-5 tops and saying that it was well adapted would be a huge understatement. The anime just makes it 10 times better.

I'm surprised you didn't really talk about the Eight Gates, I feel like that's another comparable power to Kakashi's DMS and Baryon Mode. As far as Naruto and Sasuke's powers go, Sasuke can still use his MS powers presumably including his Susano'o, and Naruto can still probably use Six Paths Sage Mode and Toad Sage Mode, he just can't stack KCM with them anymore, so I still feel like the two are plenty strong, but they aren't Otsutsuki level anymore. Sakura with the Hundred Healings Seal is probably on par with them now.

Assuming Naruto can still use SO6P mode, there's just no way Sakura is on par with him. That goes for Sasuke too, even though his left eye is gone, he should still be able to use Amaterasu. I say this because Madara was able to use his abilities with no eyes at all, so the same should be for Sasuke.

But the statement that she scales between Madara and Kaguya is just, no. When you say "Madara", I'm assuming you mean Juubi Madara. While I concede that she's now closer to Naruto and Sasuke in terms of power, since Naruto doesn't have Kurama and Sasuke doesn't have his Rinnegan, she's still not on their level. If she was, you would think she'd participate in more fights to prove so

They pretty much fight the same way they did at the end of shippuden. Naruto uses lava rasenshuriken on delta he uses shadow clones all of his main iconic powers. Sasuke fights the same way as well, using teleportation without marks susanoo sword amaterasu chidori, all of his main iconic powerful abilities.

With Naruto and Sasuke around there were no stakes. Naruto losing Kurama and Sasuke his eye was the only way to bring back some tension. Whether you're cool or not with the decision, it had to happen for the series to move forward.

No. Isshiki had his full power available to him, his body was just too weak to last more than a few days. That was ISSHIKI, just not STABLE Isshiki. A stable Isshiki would've had no time limit. This Isshiki needed to mark Kawaki as fast as possible. Once Naruto started eating away at his life span, he started to panic. Once he stopped being Jigen, his full power came to the surface. Naruto still would've beaten him down with Baryon mode, his absurd life span just wouldn't have taken enough of a hit to make Kurama's sacrifice worth it.

@@marcoteles3990 Sasuke needs to be in contact with Isshiki in order to absorb chakra from him which is dangerous considering the fact that Jigen/Isshiki could just impale him with rods. Boil release lasts for literally 5 seconds ( I'm not exaggerating, it literally lasts for 5 seconds) If Naruto and Sasuke didn't have plot armor then Jigen would've killed them in their fight by aiming those rods in their heads, throats or ven hearts.

The only problem with baryon mode is that everybody “STATES” that it is so strong (with the whole particle explanation) but we don’t see Naruto “Go All Out”. No Jinchuuriki style Bijudamas, no Full Biju transformations, nothing. It was almost exclusively punches and kicks.

That's basically all Boruto. We never get to see Naruto or Sasuke fight close to their peak from Shippuden and instead we just get new villains that are more powerful and are a new challenge to them.
