"Today's video we're going to talk about basal-cell cancers, and basal-cell cancers are the most common type of cancer out there. In fact, there's more basal-cell cancers than all the other cancers combined.
Now while basal-cell cancers have a very low chance of spreading internally, spreading to other organs, what we call metastasizing, they are still cancers and they still need to be respected and dealt with promptly. Because basal-cell cancers will get more and more locally destructive, and wreak havoc on the area in which it's growing.
So, basal-cell cancers are formed from chronic UV damage that accumulates over a lifetime. And once you've had one basal-cell cancer, you have an increased chance of having more types of skin cancer, so it's vitally important that you look yourself over every month to make sure that nothing is new, changing, growing or simply not healing. One of the biggest signs of a basal-cell cancer on your skin is a spot that you think is a pimple, but that pimple simply won't go away. In other words, all of us get pimples from time to time, but these guys heal within a week or two..."

DO NOT hesitate to go to the doctor if you have the slightest concern. About a month ago I had to have most of my right ear cut off due to Basal Cell! I let it go for 5 years knowing it was slowly eating away my ear. I had to undergo plastic surgery 2 weeks ago to reconstruct the ear using rib cartilage. Let me tell you it's not fun as I woke in recovery screaming in pain at the very slightest of movement. PLEASE DO NOT allow it to progress like I did! Don't be afraid to have it removed. The sooner the better !!

great videos thank you,, ive got 1 question please, over a 20 year span my older father (94) now has had many basel plus squamous cell cancers removed from his arms/ back/ face etc,,,at every dermo appointment the doctor said very clearly,,Sir im sure these skin cancers are itching you but they wont kill you,lets cut or freeze 2 to 3 off at a time go home & let these heal then come back in 6 months and we can cut a couple more,well that protocall worked great for many years past,but the last dermatologist wanted to deeply cut (6),, (curratage) then burn also they wanted to freeze over 10 sites BUT I stopped this doctor because i was afraid of too many done at once for my 94 year dad could cause infection,,, i did find another dermatologist that aggreed with my worries and followed the dermatologist procedure from years past,was i wrong in stopping this 1 doctor that wanted to deeply cut then burn then freeze many sites at once,,????? thanx

I have Basel cell,but not from the sun. I have gorlin syndrome, which causes that. I had mohs and freez/scrape . Unfortunately, I have a lot on my head and some on my face... I have been avoiding doing anything because of the harsh treatment you money hungry to prescribe ..🥺😢 Sadly, no caring Dr's left in this world. Now, I am stuck with this issue Treating it,naturally
