Base, Big Bend, and Badlands Broncos Offroad

Base Bronco has 33 inch all terrains and oem rock sliders, Big bend is the Sasquatch package with some rocker protection, and the Badlands is stock with a 7 speed manual. All 2.3’s! Taken at Hidden Falls Adventure Park.

That Base is impressive! As enthusiasts, we often think that we have to have all of the toys on our builds when, in reality, a Base will do 90 percent of what a rig twice the price will do.

Appreciate that! I get to wheel with some very built up broncos and the base gets by just fine, and even surprises people.. It’s hard to not want more though when you can see what the other broncos can do with lockers.

My wife and I just bought a base model with a v6 , hard top with dealer installed black method wheels and 35s …sick looking being the Azure grey! Other than turf bars and some other minor add ins the only thing performance wise I might do is add a locker to the rear someday! My wife absolutely loves this truck!

@@baseafbronco was more talking about how you handled driving. Other guys looked a bit like they were scared to scratch their rides. I have a big bend with open diffs so just trying to see people use them off-road

Just a heads up to everyone looking at buying a bronco, some of the lower trim models DO NOT HAVE SKID PLATES, if you want to take it off road like in this video get the models that have skid plates but if it's a road queen you don't need them. 2023 ford bronco, big bend, mid pack. 10 speed auto, 2.3L rear locker........ ours is a road queen

My daughter just got a Big Bend 4cyl. Have you heard of any issues with this drive train, and how capable off-road is it? I don't think her model has any undercarriage protection 🤔, not that she's going to tackle the Rubicon or anything, but smashing a transfer case on an ice block is entirely possible when living in the Rocky mtns...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠

I had an electrical issue with the pcm that needed replacing along with a wiring harness. It was a one off issue though, I haven’t seen but one or two others have that issue on all the forums. If there was two skids I’d recommend it would be a gas tank skid and rear lca skid. Those are the first places to scrape. Other than that it’s a beast. I love the 2.3.

Shit $1500 for a old school toyota 4x4 sign me up lol. They are 5x that much around here even for the really clapped ones. Would rather beat up something like that than my bronco.
