I regret missing out Base Brown when I did Green and Great Gable in the summer but good excuse to go back and the winter views were sensational. Loved the waterfalls, which we almost dry when we did it, especially the one with the mini rainbow and brilliant scenery all the way to the summit of Base Brown. That brew with a view took some beating mind and also specular views from Green Gable summit. Noticed you did not go in for a dip in Styhead Tarn........Another great walk out, cheers Alan

Hi Alan, thanks for the kind comments, it is really appreciated. There was plenty of water in the waterfalls, which is always good to see and I agree with you the waterfalls at the top of the path were really good. There was a bit of low cloud on Base Brown when we got to the summit but we were pleased it cleared as we headed up to Green Gable as the views from there were really good. We were ready for our coffee after the climb up to Base Brown and decided to stop on the way up to Green Gable as the views looking back were really good. Styhead Tarn looked a bit chilly for a dip, maybe next time, ha! Thanks again Alan for watching & commenting, it is always appreciated. Cheers. Eddie & Carol.

The lake district looks it's best with snow on the peaks. Your comparison photo really shows the difference! I wish I could get up there to experience it but it's unlikely I will get a chance this winter now so I'm happy to watch your video to see this stunning scenery instead. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend cheers from barnyz 👍👍👍

Hi Barnyz. I agree, the Lake District looks stunning with a bit of snow on the fells. The good thing about walking on the fells, is you can do the same walk at different times of the year and it looks different each time. Thanks for watching & commenting, it is always appreciated. Take care & have a good weekend. Cheers. Eddie.

Great video Eddie. I like the simplicity of your videos. By that I don’t mean simplistic , far from it. Did that route without Green Gable but with Seathwaite fell, then down Graines gill. Currently resting due to accidentally kicking a storage box with my little toe. Ouch!!!

Top class video and hike Eddie, you really needed to know where you were going in those conditions and you both just made it look so easy. The waterfalls and the Hanging Stone views were spectacular enough but they were eclipsed by all the views you had on the tops. I was wishing I was there!! The snow made it even more stunning and the quality of your camera and photos was just brilliant. You didn't even look cold but coffee always helps. Really enjoyed it all, regards, Ashley

@@eddiecaisley5746 All good here, did a local walk this week with a friend and his dog and should have it uploaded today. Lovely hike Eddie. We did it from Honister down to Seathwaite. We had two cars. As a matter of interest, which software are you using. I’ve tried Filmora and Cyberlink, had problems with them both. Thinking about Adobe but it’s pricey. Cheers

Hi Mike. Thanks. It was a great day with superb views all the way. I like the idea of your route starting from Honsiter and using two cars. I use Power Director 16 to edit the videos.
