Base running airflow tuning

I am not responsible for you messing your car up. This is a help guide for people that want to learn, not a let me break my car and blame someone else for my mistake.
This is how I get a good base running airflow. This will get you close hope it helps

Great info, but that glare is annoying!! Any plans on making a video on how to tune Ve using stft and ltft

francisco gallegos yes I could possibly do something like that I think it would be more informing if it did that with a wideband input. stft is nice but it is useless if you are not targeting 14.7 afr.

Man I hope this fixes my idle issues gonna try it mine was doing exactly what you said decelerating zoom and hunting then some times stalls and sometimes he finds it and idles Hope this fixes my high rev on start up after car is warmed I revs to like 2500-3000 rpms then slowing comes down

imstockyo it’s a 2000 5.3 using a 0411 ecu and wiring harness from a 2002 suburban with flex fuel injector. Howard cam 598/601 headers CAI TURBO 400 bored 30mm stock truck intake. Runs pretty good cruising just stopping at stop signs and in traffic is horrible

Should you follow this process once your car is warm? Or on cold starts?

scotts dale if it is by temp start cold but either way cold starts tend to produce similar results

Do you flash the ecu with the table at 0 then data log? Or can I data log it with the stock data? Thanks in advance

Rosa Arreola I 0 the table and then log but either has worked for me

Either will work I like to use 0 so there is nothing changing or adding value.

Idle timing you just gotta play with I normally end up between 18-22* you want smooth but play with spark in the scanner for better sound

How do you set it up by rpm instead of by temperature

Randy Sullivan you have to set it up in the scanner, right click on the graph list and go to layouts and just build it to be the way yours is.
