Really good video. I had to do some digging on the GEN 5 platfrom to figure out under Idle>RPM>Follower>Immediate in the same table as your two Under Over speed tables. They just put the togather on the new stuff. I adjusted it the same amount under the Predicted Tab too.

Just did this on mine. 222/233 cam in a 5.3 that was idling smooth at 650rpm....now it chops. I can do a before and after video.....

I think his underspeed numbers were supposed to be multiplied by a negative not a positive. I got the same effect as you. But in another video, they multiplied the underspeed by -2 and I got a chop with that one.

No, this just allows a bigger cam to chop freely, instead of holding it back

I have a gen 4 so Ima going to watch this video over and over and I’ll try this. I had to subscribe. Man got straight to the point and explained it perfectly. Only question is on the other charts where you multiply it by 1.1 or 10%. Do you do that for all the ones in that column???

My boosted C6 Vette has a mild cam, 222/228 dur. and I want a smooth idle. Adding an artificial poor idle quality sounds goofy. Why would anyone do that?

go to Edit, then View, and select "Advanced View". close the engine tab and then reopen.
