Coal Depletion On Cab3, press the down arrow button next to the smoke off button then a sub menu opens with three arrows then slide it down and hold until its starts to deplete. Then to refill it hold down the "R" button

Mine says no update available my base 3 is 1.22

Are you connected to your homes wi-fi on your device? and not the Base3 network? There is an update out there.

@@seanstraindepot I have the arrow , base , engine icons for up , down , and swipping across. I'm in AP mode I cannot connect in WPS just doesn't work.

@@jseitzjs You first have to be connected to internet when you open the Cab3 App and go to the Bae3 screen to download the update. Then once downloaded connect to BASE3 in AP mode.

​@seanstraindepot ok that worked Base 3 is now updated to 1.26 , but I don't see the old version 1.22 if I had to switch back

Ya Sean, I went to the website looking for what specific updates were included this time and didn't see anything. I hope Lionel lists all future changes. Also .I hope the app defaults to the cab 3 side rather than bluetooth side, it would just make things way easier.

Yeah, it is slowly getting there, but that is an expected enhancement defaulting to your preferred tab.

The problem with the roster is the same with Lionchief 2.0 lashups it doesn't stick. I sent an email to Lionel about it.

Trying to update my clubs Base 3 i can download the update , i press the gear while turning on the Base 3 it flashes the blue lights , i reconnect to the phone , but when i go back into the app the Base 3 L flashes but doesn't stay on , there is nothing highlighted to update to the latest version it wont work.

If it fails, just start the process again. Some people have had to do it a couple of times to get it to update.

Hello, did you perhaps manage to solve the problem? I kinda deal with the same thing - when I connect my smartphone to the Base in AP mode, it only stays connected for 2 seconds and then it disconnects (saying that lack of internet connection is the reason)... :/

@theroyalviewer357 we managed to get it resolved for some reason couldn't get internet connection that night but it worked the next night , although there is now a new update , and it seems the updated app has bugs in it not allowing to update the base 3 to 1.28

@@jseitzjs Yes it does, use the Base3 System Utility to update Base for now.
