Very nostalgic. Those pulls used to be way more common at least around where I live. I don’t recall seeing any 460s but once in a while, I’d see some 450Es.
@Alarmo052212 күн бұрын
What’s weird about the V1971 strobes on these 460s is that they have a flash rate of 60FPM (60 bpm) but they flash at 80 FPM, mine especially. Kinda funky

nice! a really long time ago, i was temporarily transferred to a different elementary school, and they had these, including some spectralert classics. i can barely remember what was over there but it does bring back nostalgia seeing them again. this is also my first time actually hearing them (i probably did before but i might've forgotten)

I always wondered what those sounded like after I saw one with the horn missing in a NewAgeServerAlarm video years ago, not quite expected, but pretty cool!
@MichanaAlerting2 күн бұрын
So cool to see an entire system of these 460+V1971's! The only other time I've seen them is NewAgeServerAlarm's System Test 28 and they were configured as remote strobes. Also I think the Gentex strobe really does fit since it's a first gen with no reflector and Gentex probably did make both the horn and strobe for those alarms. A V1971 with just a plate would've worked too, but I'm not complaining.

I don't know if it's just me or the horn in the panel room sounds slighty different?

Really liking the system! I just put up another video of my io1000 on my channel. It demonstrates how the io1000 can actually do partitions. How I set it up was that I used both new and old EST devices and set the old and new devices on seperate partitions through programming. It’s a cool system with a unique setup if you wish to check it out.

I like mini horns and mechanical horns! Not really the horn strobes or bells. The mini horns sound like house hold smoke detectors. There like mini versions of the mechanical horns.

1:43 the 1400 is early to mid to late 80s, older than 90s. in the 90s it’d probably just be a SD-651 or 2100

You should get Gentex WGE Weatherproof Devices because I don't want the MT's to get old already because they been there for a long time and they are softer so your neighbors don't get mad because of how loud are the MT's

Those would have to be 80's alarms as in 1996 NFPA mandated strobe sync. (Dont quote me on that thats just what google said) Cool system though! Oh BTW did you ever fix that shed pull?
@alexandersalarms53802 күн бұрын
These are 90s alarms. Strobe sync was not mandated in 1996 either.these are not ada compliant with todays standards because they don’t sync, but back in the 90s these were complaint because the strobe was able to reach 15 candela and above
@chrisgamecave2 күн бұрын
@@alexandersalarms5380 Dang okay
@FireAlarmDude59672 күн бұрын
That’s logically inaccurate. If strobe sync was required in 1996, any devices from between 1990-1995 would be syncable and from the 90s
