My grandson said Luke's room (he's 10 also) he especially loves the frame you made, awesome idea. I'm a fan of it all, hard to choose. Love the dark contrast walls. Just an idea, perhaps using a slim wooden box to raise the bedside clock and have the diffuser in front? Oh and I'm also a toothpaste user when hanging anything lol

My nephews said Luke’s room (they are also 10). They loved the cube shelf with the drawers. I loved all of the rooms, it’s really hard to choose.

You could also do a cat wall, where you put shelves up on the wall for the cat to climb and lay on.

Legit though, the 2 tv’s side by side is the cutest thing ever!! My partner and I game as well, but we prefer different types (I like RPG/puzzle/strategy games, and he prefers fighting/combat/adventure games. There’s only a few that cross genres we both love to play). He’ll be at one end of the room and I’ll be on the other, being able to play next to each other is an awesome idea! Being able to do something you like but still being near your partner sounds way better than seeming like the most anti social couple ever 😂

WOW! I just Marathoned all 3hrs on a Saturday Afternoon in April 2023! Go Figure! I really loved everything you did, especially with the Boys' rooms! We raised 2 boys (55 & 48) and one of the greatest joys we had was decorating their rooms all thru the years! It's kind of fun to remember the Winnie the Pooh at 3yrs old which turned into Airplanes at 16 for the Youngest, later a Retired Career Military Man, now a Gov Contractor! The oldest loved Sailing Ships & Nautical Theme for many years, but went Army just like his Dad. (later followed by the Youngest) Then he has been in Law Enforcement for 30yrs. He never has learned to Pilot one of those big sail boats he loved so much when he was young, tho. Lol I hope Luke gets his Car when he grows up! (or at least gets to drive one) And I hope the other boys have all their Dreams Fulfilled, as well. It was such a joy for me to watch you & your Husband do those room projects for the boys! It reminded me of my Husband & I when we were younger & doing Home Deco projects! (we hire contractors now, bc we're not able to do big projects any more) It's Sweet to see that cute affection between you, too. And your ability to Laugh? Just a practical hint. When we paint, instead of pouring the paint directly in the paint pan, we pull a binbag over the pan and after we are finished painting, we just pull of the bag and no cleaning afterwards.

Fun thing to do for your kids! Whenever you want a dark black like colored wall, its nice to use chalkboard paint. You can do anything from random doodles to notes to quotes and you kids can have fun drawing in it and you clean it off with a wet rag

I have one, believe it or not its just water that gets hot and the top is like a pressure cooker and its just sprayed steam its great. I got one years ago at rite aide, but Alidi's had them on sale last week's ad if that helps

If the screws and wall holding the upside-down shelves are strong enough, why not hang hooks from the frame below the bottom shelf for jackets, etc. Or simply hang some coathangers there.

I like the marathon videos and dont mind watching you clean and get organized. I love the dark blue accent walls. They are the perfect contrast color. Love the Shark vacuum. I have a Shark Navigator liftaway that I love !! Yours looks even better maybe when I need another one it will be your model. I like the elevated bed in the first boys berm. It's cool for the child and leave floor space for other pieces. The shelf needs to be turned right side up so that the weight of whatever is on it Is supported properly!

I loved watching all the changes. If the night stands are still bothering you, try adding casters to the bottom of the legs, it will raise them and make it easier to move when cleaning.

All 5 projects you did was a LOT of work. I am glad the boys liked their rooms. I like the "map" wall and the game room. Everything looked great and functional. You don't have much storage but you made the best of it anyway. I liked all of the boys rooms but I really like Luke's. I loved the cars. He's got expensive taste but it doesn't cost anything to dream. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. Never give up! Again, great teamwork Amanda and Kyle.

Was thinking the same thing. Back in the seventies my two brothers bedrooms were in the basement when we were in high school. One of the windows was under my room and I could hear them crawl out but never snitched. One summer night around 3am the phone rang. The police had them at the station and wanted my mom to come and pick them up. They were caught with some friends in an apt complex parking lot shooting off the complex fire extinguishers and making a lot of noise in their fun. My mom decided they should learn what jail was about and asked the officer if they would put them in an actual cell for a few hours and she’d be down to pick them up around nine.

We have only used 1/3 of the supplies our school asked for to do remote learning. What they said we didn't need is what we use the most - printer, ink, and paper. But the supply station is a must. I use a little plastic 3 drawer tower for my daughter.

the color y’all painted the two walls in the beginning is almost the exact shade i have my accent wall in my room painted, i love navy, and when the light is shining through the windows the color looks like a nice blue but when it is dark at night it makes your room almost pitch black, navy is just such a pretty versatile color

Funny at the end when you said you wrote notes to him in geography. Green plant in yellow container from shelving can be placed in middle of dark round table. An upside down shelf is a good conversation piece. Try painting a colourful mural for the window wells, and some nice plant boxes with outdoor lighting. You can hang sheets vertically for steaming. Very well done.
