@@flowerballs_008 the seedings are in groups based on records, so you will know around about who is where but not in which order. For example there will only be 3 robots that are 4-0 at the end so you will know the top 3 seeds but not the order they are in until episode 9

(SPOILER) Man, seeing Catch V4 chuck Tenderlove out was so satisfying after the Mulsanne fight! Great that karma finally caught up to it.

I really messed up Tenderlove's design in 2021, I didn't make the forks extend out of the front enough to be able to do anything meaning that whenever the wedges engaged with TLove and another machine, they just kept getting sort of tangled, meaning I couldn't, as a control bot, actually control anything very well.

@@drneroli Hey, don’t beat yourself up about it too much. These things happen. Tenderlove still put on an amazing show this season and a 2-2 record with both of those losses being close fights against amazing machines is nothing to be ashamed of. I really do hope to see more of Tenderlove in the future!

The 3-0 gang really don't need to fight another battle, especially this close to the championship. --2-2-- Cosmo Tenderlove --2-1-- Atlas Calcifer Claymore E.T.A. Goldeneye Loki Panther Ryu-Kishin Siren Tranquilizer That last category is what it all comes down to. There's ten robots, fighting for five places. Win, and they're basically guaranteed in. Lose, and they (plus Cosmo and Tenderlove) are fighting for only three "bonus" spaces. I'm honestly predicting the next episode will be these ten robots...but then, my predictions for this episode were rather off, so what do I know?

With my personal opinion I feel like it is flippers taking the big stage. Especially since we have two flippers winning the championship so far and only one horizontal. Yeah the verticals are showing there true force but it may take them just a little bit to take over. Despite this I think it is ok for toaster to have that opinion if they keep ending up wrong then they do.

I feel ETA won tbh, as even though it took quite a bit of damage it still got in plenty of flips and chased after firewave to try and prevent it from spinning up

On my first viewing absolutely agree with you. I had to go back to watch the fight again to see why the judges made their decision. Firewave took off armour panelling but did not disable either of it's opponents. ETA did many spectacular flips on both it's opponents. The judges all scored weapon effectiveness Firewave 6 ETA 5. Judge 1 and 2 gave aggression and control Firewave 5 and ETA 6/7. That is what won ETA the fight. Firewave hits you and then pinballs away all across the arena. Meanwhile ETA throws you up and then down but doesn't get hurt by that. In the end it was incredibly close but I have to agree with the judges here even if I don't like the result myself. I wanted to see the spinny boy do well but the problem is that both opponents were too well armoured and they only lost armour panels, not weapons or wheels.

I can see where the judges are coming from. I think it came down to effectiveness of weapon. ETA's was just a bit better.

A quick question, but I'm posting this as SPOILERS because it does relate to one of the judges' decisions here. - - - - - - - - - - What exactly would count towards aggression points for a spinner? Because it seems that's where they keep getting screwed over.

aggression relates almost entirely to initiating or attempting to initiate attacks however big spinners by nature have to run away to spin up, thereby actively avoiding initiating attacks and instead letting their opponent do it. The only modification that can be made is do what battlebots do and base aggression on weapon usage but that's literally what effectiveness does already

@croga idk if they changed this, but I remember that in battlebots it doesn't count against a spinner if they run away to spin up to speed

@@imnotoriginal8980 if a spinner is running away to spin up and they are being chased it would be unfair to not give aggression points to the chaser. If the spinner runs away but the other robot doesn't follow them then I agree but that's what we do anyway
